27/7/2012 09:13 | Cfro, he was only appointed this year and took up his position in March - give him a chance :o)) What with the results and AGM statement he's probably been in a closed period anyway. This is likely the very first opportunity to buy that he's had. And he took it. | rivaldo

12/7/2012 07:48 | Nice solid statement so early into the financial year, I agree it feels like we are closer to an acquisition anouncement, they have £500,000 still sat in the accounts from the placing one year ago. ic2... | interceptor2
12/7/2012 07:18 | Excellent AGM statement - as good as could be hoped for. It sounds like we may soon get news of acquisitions too... "Chamberlin, the specialist foundry and engineering group, will be holding its Annual General Meeting today and Chairman, Keith Butler-Wheelhouse, will provide the following update on current trading, "In my first AGM statement as Chairman, I am pleased to report that the Group's trading in the first three months of the new financial year has been in line with management expectations and the Group remains strongly cash generative. This is particularly pleasing given the wider macro economic situation. As we previously reported, the Board's focus remains on increasing sales and improving Chamberlin's operational performance and we continue to make progress in these areas. In line with strategy, we also continue to look for suitable acquisitions to complement organic growth and I look forward to updating shareholders in due course." | rivaldo
