16/11/2017 21:06 | I prefer the divi was cut if needs be.. this is like a yo yo | mj19
16/11/2017 20:54 | I believe the update next week will cause the share price to fall further I'm afraid, below analyst predictions and share price will tank, above, and after initial rise, share price will fall as this will simply provide regulator with motive to impose a harsh price cap. 16/11/2017 19:50 | MJ19Yes. People want clarity plus the Autumn Statement . | nortic 007
16/11/2017 19:16 | jpjohn, I suppose you could look at it this way. "You are only losing a fortune if you actually sell". I know how it feels though. Lost big in the crash as my money was in Lloyds. | capeview
16/11/2017 19:14 | Guys I am holding still but do you think people aren't buying till after the 23rd update | mj19
16/11/2017 19:12 | Couldn't have put it better myself. Had lots of Marconi once and we all know how that turned out. | nortic 007
16/11/2017 17:45 | jpjohn1I find humour a good way of masking the pain. You've done well to have your screen off. I haven't got that kind of discipline. If we could live to 120 we might see these over 200. LolPleasant evening all . | nortic 007
16/11/2017 16:41 | Long dated guilts are more fun than this. | nortic 007
16/11/2017 16:16 | Hi chaps, just logged back in again. I find it's the best way to take the stress out. Was expecting £1.65 so the share price is a little better than I thought. I see it hit £1.69,6 earlier today, shame it didn't stay up there. Let's hope it gets back up to £1.70s and £1.80s soon. Unfortunately it's got to go up a load for me to break even, still it will be nice to get the div soon | jpjohn1
16/11/2017 14:57 | The trouble is Portside, you go on a Rant and if there was anything of any use that you would or could post most people would just ignore it as another Rant. Is bad enough with Minerve and Smartypants and there constant bashing. We can all see what is happening or not happening, but sometimes come on the boards for a bit of banter or general chatting about anything and the shares, not a constant page full of the SmartyPerve show or Portside. | capeview
16/11/2017 14:55 | Norwegian $1bn sovereign fund annoumced they gonna get out of investing in oil and gas companies. Shell and BP down today. Thats about $50-60bn to pull out? You would have thought they would want to get out quietly else surely they gonna lower the sell price, unless Oilies guarantee their states in buy back? | hamhamham1
16/11/2017 14:48 | I filtered out Portside about 2 years ago, mainly on account of his appalling language but also because he talked such nonsense. I see that Portside still contributes to a number of shares but at least I do not need to read them. | selborne_edge
16/11/2017 14:48 | the company may never get the chance again to buy back so cheaply | portside1
16/11/2017 14:46 | cape all i have said is i think you should of spoken by now , and have not said I am unhappy with the company read my posts correctly I just feel a bit sad for those that are under water but in any company when their a crash its the ceo/chairmans job to speak . I am not down much just a couple of pennies but I would be happy to see a buy back at these levels it makes sense to me a good chance to reposition the share issue and reduce div payments going forward and would also push the share price up I buy to make money and have my views | portside1
16/11/2017 14:34 | I haven't checked in for 745 posts. I should have left it another 745. Oh dear. | grahamite2
16/11/2017 14:25 | Gaffer, precisely, but Portside one minute CONN can do no wrong then goes on a bashing spree asking why CONN hasn't said anything and that he's useless, yadda yadda yadda. Oh, but he'll still invest in the company?? | capeview
16/11/2017 14:14 | This has dropped from £4 to £1.70 if he was going to say anything it would have been before now. | gaffer73
16/11/2017 13:28 | Port, I'm not on about your share price but the bashing of CONN. One minute he did no wrong, now he's doing everything wrong. The funny thing is, he hasn't said anything yet. Is that wrong or smart? Either way you'll probably bash him. It seems every share you have an interest in you go on a bashing spree day after day. | capeview
16/11/2017 13:22 | cape I started buying at 182.6p or their abouts and have a load more all the way down to 166p | portside1
16/11/2017 13:20 | I would of thought that CONN would of spoken by now but will next Thursday . I am still holding and still buying and my avge is 172p plus I have a div coming | portside1
16/11/2017 13:10 | since feb CONN as said or done nothing to calm the share share price . why he is paid a lot of money to speak for the company and to protect investor interest he as done neither how can any investor invest in any company when the ceo gives out no info or reassurance to investors investors buy on company info | portside1
16/11/2017 13:06 | yes I did but being a person who also thinks about what is good for investors I am always happy to amend my views to improve invest returns over time . I also believe that CONNS silence over the last 6 weeks is not good enough , I am an investor to make money and now see that CNA need to alter course .and tack but lets see what conn says next week | portside1 |
