Have to get the online presence expanding..

Worst fall in high street shoppers for over a year in December

....It comes after separate data showed almost one in five non-food purchases were made online in December, as overall retail sales grew 0.4% on a like-for-like basis

London Ev Standard newspaper..

BUY

Bonmarché

snap up shares in Bonmarché, Investec recommends. The broker is thrilled that the new chief executive Beth Butterwick has "repositioned the brand back to its heritage" selling high-quality clothes to women in their fifties and above. It says it will benefit from an ageing population and limited competition. Shares are 251p with a 285p target.

This is the only LSE listed discounter. Classes itself above Primark (who doesn't ?) and has a demographic focus of 50+.

Chair is Tim Mason (ex Tesco). Management team doesn't look too bad and the sector is growing.

It may be in a sweet spot .. right place right time right sentiment.
