25/4/2017 15:43 | getting close to breakout, if the new girl brings home the bacon, this could turn out to be a major multibagger over the next few years. The online sales will be the key. WJ. | w1ndjammer
25/4/2017 15:38 | hour to go, would be great to squeeze through a quid | qs99
25/4/2017 14:59 | maybe £1 today? | qs99
25/4/2017 14:22 | Clear momentum here now, with rising volumes. Not sure why some are concerned about P&D; read the trading update, do some follow up and make your mind up on whether a recovery is likely here or not. dyor | aishah
25/4/2017 14:18 | and on we go again | qs99
25/4/2017 13:45 | LOL, yes we can still be friends :o) | bigbigdave
25/4/2017 13:43 | Hi W1ndjammer. Yes, fair comment. :-) Hi Chickenrun1. No, not paranoid. I'm at ease with everyone I meet. Hi Bigbigdave. I see you've remove the "Ed 123 filtered" message and replaced it with a dot. Does that mean we're still friends? ;-O BON is up another 3.5p as I type. Long term holders seeing some reward for their patience. | ed 123
25/4/2017 13:35 | Moving on up 👍 | battlebus2
25/4/2017 13:19 | Ed, you seem to be paranoid. | chickenrun1
25/4/2017 13:15 | Ed 123 people buy, people sell then buy again, thats what makes a market it happens on every stock, this is no exception, just compare this against BOO with its £2.1 Billion M-cap against BON at £45 mill not much difference between turnover and profits, and ho this one pays a nice divi......... WJ. | w1ndjammer
25/4/2017 12:31 | ... and another new identity arrives on this board in defence. I've seen it all before .... many times. Hi Chickenrun1. You may be an innocent victim of circumstance but did you know that 10 minutes before your positive post 289 (and the first one I can see from you on BON) someone bought 50,000 shares at 81.75p? Then 10 minutes after my post today alerting readers to a sell of 50,000 shares at 89p you posted a defence of the anonymous 50,000 share sell? As I say, the timings may be entirely coincidental and, if that's the case, then please say so. Setting aside this incidence, would you say in general that it's ok to promote a share on public bulletin boards and then sell the following day? It's a moral compass question. | ed 123
25/4/2017 12:19 | Rises will be on big volume days and it will drift on lower volume days, always the way with recovery stocks. | bigbigdave
25/4/2017 11:43 | Oh, and there it is. Didn't have to wait for market close. At 10:38am 50,000 shares were sold at 89p. Trade report was delayed by one hour. Now, I wonder who the seller was? (Bid price has slipped another penny to 86p and the quoted spread has widened to 5.5%.) Anyone out there feel they're being mugged? | ed 123
25/4/2017 11:37 | At 11:25am the bid price dropped from 90p to 87p in a single move. If I had to guess I'd say that one of the early doors pumpers has sold a big chunk of shares. We may see a big trade reported after market close. | ed 123
25/4/2017 11:01 | thanks DD, people sitting up and taking notice IMO | qs99
25/4/2017 09:45 | "Kate Calvert, analyst at Investec, said: "In the context of a difficult industry backdrop, Bonmarche has delivered a solid fourth quarter... It is still early days in the turnaround with delivery likely to offer material share price upside." | duncan doughnut
25/4/2017 09:03 | buyers still there this am.... | qs99
25/4/2017 08:20 | well glad I am on board whatever the cause GLA | qs99
25/4/2017 08:14 | Ok just look at it this way, if you had £2.1 Billion in your back pocket would you spend it all on buying BOO turnover £195 mill or would you just spend £45 mill of it on buying BON turnover £188 mill no reason why BON cant have a £2 Billion m-cap in 3 years time how is that for a ramp, or could it be true........... WJ. | w1ndjammer
25/4/2017 07:18 | I for one am not pumping these having held previously so I'm all too aware of the difficulty on the high street etc. I'm hoping this is the start on the path to recovery though that remains to be seen. I'd have thought at the current levels it's a decent risk reward but hope everyone does their own research. | battlebus2
25/4/2017 00:26 | "Why would you sell a stock that's yields close to 9%, surely a long term hold?" Oh, in case you hadn't noticed, I'm not one who is pumping BON. Yield? Nothing really matters ... other than getting the price higher. Any one-liner positive will do. Golden rules of pumping include, never provide a balance view, definitely no negatives, and always challenge dissenting voices. | ed 123
24/4/2017 23:28 | Why would you sell a stock that's yields close to 9%, surely a long term hold? | battlebus2 |
