Diku - It's become the 'I've got more money than you thread', but I can't find a way of changing the title!

I've given up reading the posts, that is apart from Portside's and I think he must have a lot of shorts open or he wouldn't be trying to do everything possible to knock the price.

It's the media. Like everything, they blow it out of proportion to dramatise it. I don't condone violence, but what instigated it. It's not always booze. Just needs a match to start the fire. Could have been another nation for all we know.

Just because it's in the news doesn't make it the truth,

Christh, do you really think that whenever there is violence that it's only a one way street and only English supporters are involved? That is just gullible.

The other thing that bugs the hell out of me, is how can they say prices will rise for food? Does that mean my honey from New Zealand will have a higher price when we know the EU are charging tariffs for these things. Or the wines from Australia, my dates from Israel???

No. They will go down because these tariffs will be lifted over time, making the things we buy cheaper. Why have these tariffs, what purpose is there other than to line the pockets of the EU beaurocratic system. I would much rather free trade, not tariffed trade which is what we have now.

Forget Brexit, stay long of UK equities; banks

Investors should remain long of the FTSE, despite Brexit concerns, due to the UK indices defensive qualities, according to two investment banks.

Christh, experts are like bottoms, everybody has one. Just because they appear like an expert doesn't mean they know how to do things. If they did, we wouldn't have had the 2008 2009 crash.

Where were these so called experts then? Oh that's right, they came out after the event.

I am not complaining of living in this system Capitalism.

So no need to mention it, that's life whether you live in UK or India or Africa.
Everywhere is capitalism and comes with the bad ungly face of drugs as you said.

Drugs do not come from Europe only but from other parts of the world that you have not mentioned in your post.
So do not blame Europe if the drugs come from Colombia, West Indies, Africa or the Far East.
It's our ports, airports need to be secured, it's not Europe's fault.

Remember more taxes on the way on your £800,000 property if we Brexit.
(Well done to you for your property by the way).

capeview,

Car Industry=French and German cars are better cars than Ford, Vauxhall
i.e.Golf,Audi,BMW, Peugoit, Renault more reliable than our fords and Vauxhalls.

The US wants to stay in the EU because most of the EU countries are in the NATO and the US controls and runs NATO whether we are in or out.

FIFA=It was made up of people all over the world, not just Europeans!

Eurovision Song = UCRAINE why? Unity of Europe against Russia????

The experts know better because they are the ones that design our economy and
pace our moves to prosperity.
Whether you agree or disagree the reality is if we come out we'll be poorer in the pocket.

Christh, I understand all you say, but we would have most of that in or out, and it's not like the EU will stop trading with us. How many French and German cars do you see on the uk roads? Far more than most other manufacturers. I think it's only ford and Vauxhall that may be larger, ones American and the other is owned by the Americans. Are they going to stop selling cars to us? After all, how did VW do with there omissions scandal with all these rules and laws? That could well be very damaging for the EU if the USA gets there claws into that like they did with BP and the damage that happened there. So why does the US want us to stay in the EU if they punish us so much.

As for security, crime fighting, science, they will still be joint. Not like the security forces will stop helping each other or scientists.

For me, it's about the beurocracy and corruption in the EU. Just look how the Eurovision Song Contest is run. You rub my back I'll rub yours. Sorry, how is that fair? The same will be happening in the government.
Then there is the corrupt FIFA.

Far too much corruption. I believe we have more chance to change outside the EU where those in power can't just tell us to stuff it. The tides of the world are changing and the status quo don't like change, they want to stay in there castles and the people are uprising but without pitchforks and fire.
Too many people in a place of power are fearing there jobs and the power they could lose, not how the economy is. If all these so called experts out there think it's the right thing for the economy, how did none of them see the last crash happen, let alone previous crashes. The answer is, no one knows until it happens and quite possibly there is business behind it in the first place.

sports immigration lawyer has warned some European players may no longer be able to play in the Premier League if Britain votes to leave the European Union next week.

Currently players from countries within the EU can work in Britain without a work permit but that could change if 'Leave' prevails in the Referendum on June 23, although it is likely to be several years before the effects are felt.

Last season 432 European players were registered to play in the Premier League. Those players are unlikely to have to leave but should the vote go against 'Remain' new players would not have an automatic right to live and work in the UK.
