22/7/2008 07:26 | Pomp - I was looking in here 10 mins ago and wondering why no-one had posted for 3 months! I bought these at 60p a few years back and sold at 30 when I realised this company was a long way from making any money and the share price was going to continue south. There is still no mention of any income in the RNS, never mind profit, but assuming sales keep going in the right direction, surely these will follow in due course. At this price I think it's time to get back in in a small way. | fugu
22/7/2008 07:18 | More progress, but still the stock falls!! Azure Dynamics ships record number of units in second quarter and makes progress on key sales initiatives OAK PARK, MI, July 21 /CNW/ - Azure Dynamics Corporation (TSX: AZD, LSE: ADC & OTCQX: AZDDF) - ("Azure" or the "Company"), a leading developer of hybrid electric and electric powertrains for commercial vehicles, announced today that it shipped a record number of units during the second quarter and continues to gain traction on a number of key sales initiatives. 49 hybrid electric and 37 electric vehicle systems were shipped during the second quarter. Key deliveries were made to FedEx Express, AT&T, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and several others. In addition, a number of key sales initiatives are expected to contribute positively to Azure's performance in the second half of 2008, including the following: - Production has commenced on the Company's largest order to date of 105 Balance Hybrid Electric systems for Purolator Courier Ltd., Canada's largest courier company - Four dealers have recently been signed up as part of the Company's plan to sign approximately 50 dealers over the next year in major metro markets in the United States and Canada. This will broaden Azure's distribution network for its Balance Hybrid Electric medium- duty trucks - New fleets with over 5,000 estimated annual commercial vehicle purchases are either currently engaged in an active product trial or demonstration for the Balance Hybrid Electric, or are expected to enter into one during the third quarter Scott Harrison, Chief Executive Officer for Azure Dynamics, said "We are seeing unprecedented demand for each of our product lines and are encouraged by the significant number of trials underway with new customers that have major national fleets. Thanks to exceptional efforts by all of our associates, our Balance Hybrid Electric system launched this past May. Our product is performing well and we are providing exceptional value to our customers in the course of executing on our business plan." 17/4/2008 17:07 | Good appointment, still watching for the company making deal and some sign of reducing losses. This market is huge and TAN/ENOVA wont satisfy it by themselves. For Euroclear (month delayed) stockloan data see | spekky
25/2/2008 09:54 | Sorry wrong thread | spekky
25/2/2008 09:53 | domtheone - 13 Oct'08 - 16:38 - 37364 of 37367 Biggest FTSE faller of the day (not including the terd that is HBOS). Arguably the darkest day in LLoyds history. Shame on all involved that normal shareholders have been made to suffer. RBS and HBOS management have gone (quite rightly) and so the Lloyds team should probably do the same now that they have taken the company to the brink. Today will be a day when many gave up on the stock markets forever. domtheone - 13 Oct'08 - 17:20 - 37399 of 37442 johnpaul, am the same, in my 30's don't need the cash so can afford to wait but i've totally written my investment off now and am practically done with the stock market. Everything is in the bottom draw and it'll stay there for a number of decades. If Lloyds aint a safe haven, nothing is. Goodbye stock markets forever, hello savings accounts paying 4-6% pa lol. Lord Gallivant - 11 Dec'08 - 20:09 - 55277 of 55278 Don't shoot the messenger, you think I am responsible for the down trend? | spekky
22/1/2008 23:27 | World ain't coming to an end, yet. Still time for ADC to sell thousands of units into the green support lobby, and make good profits into the bargain. You watch, but don't take too long to get on board. Won't be staying at this level for long. | alimo
03/1/2008 20:06 | Deferred share units in lieu of cash? oh dear...... | spekky
21/12/2007 19:49 | its slightly up at the moment on Toronto exchange, again 1.1m shares traded as I write this. Dont forget to check the TSX link in the header, always remember they are 5hrs behind,a lot can happen when you sit down for your evening meal and a bottle of vino with your other half. I made a small amount on ADC when it was trading at 30p...ish,so you can imagine how releaved I am at the moment. No advice intended but if you are really interested in "green" transport the EV thread is a great place to start (apologies if you already know that). EDIT.....it finished 1% down on the day. | spekky
21/12/2007 15:59 | Some people in the know maybe,b4 the rest of us ! | hellisreal
21/12/2007 09:05 | This rose on TSX by 15% yesterday on just over a million traded, the Stockhouse Canadian bullboards dont give any clues so I think this is just playing catchup. | spekky
18/12/2007 13:55 | Worth keeping an eye on given how many vehicles FPL operate, but as usual, waiting for the big orders. Also worth noting that TAN (SEV) will be producing in the USA next year with a superior product (imho). | spekky
30/11/2007 01:08 | Good points spekky ,thx. | hellisreal
29/11/2007 21:19 | Its good alright but I'll keep an eye on it for now untill that news translates into some BIG orders. The trouble is,local authorities UK/USA claim the green credentials when they have just one or two buses. Its called "greenwashing". | spekky
29/11/2007 18:53 | Great News today No reaction here to it ? | hellisreal

27/8/2007 14:49 | I think ADC have more business than they can reasonably handle just now. Moving over to production is a big thing that requires great skill to manage profitably. Always bear in mind that it's business not worth doing unless the profit is there for SHAREHOLDERS. The primary reason ADC are in business. | alimo
15/8/2007 14:52 | I think both companies will struggle untill governments step up with some financial inducements for companies to go green/greener. | spekky
15/8/2007 09:52 | Enova are still losing money but their order book looks good. I should have gone for that one. | david77
15/8/2007 09:37 | todays financials makes it look like theres a mountain to climb. | spekky
14/8/2007 09:04 | Interesting changes here, hopefully leading to a more commercially viable company.I'm just keeping an eye on this one, possibly a bit more pain yet but I think in time it could play a big part in "greener" transport solutions. | spekky
02/8/2007 21:15 | bit of good news. | sllab101
02/8/2007 10:13 | anybody know what's going on with this share and the sudden fall off? I know there are few trades but that has been the case for months. | rye2 |
