Chief Executive Officer, Avril Palmer-Baunack, commented:

"Autologic has produced a solid result in 2011 in difficult market conditions. Financially, we have grown revenues and maintained operating profits whilst operationally we have successfully integrated the Autocarriers business, following the trade and asset purchase in 2010, and retained all key customer accounts in a year that saw a significant proportion of our UK revenue base up for renewal.

Undoubtedly there are opportunities to develop the existing business lines within Autologic over the course of 2012, both by incremental, organic growth and by acquisition. We are also well positioned to implement the Board's strategy to move into related sectors and for Autologic to establish a greater presence across the vehicle life-cycle. I am optimistic that we will develop the business further in 2012 and I look forward to taking advantage of these opportunities as they arise."

Yes I have also noticed that loan rates are becoming more favourable now on smaller amounts (£5000 - £10,000) and are readily available for those with a good credit history/affordability....

Here's SUS's statement from Friday...

Motor Finance

For yet another year Advantage Finance has overcome the lull traditionally associated with the winter months in the used car market. Indeed the last two months of trading have been extremely buoyant and show substantial increases on last year. As Advantage continues to develop its underwriting expertise, its loan products appeal to an ever wider range of customers. It has ambitious targets for growth in 2012/13 which together with a very strong collections performance should produce yet another record year for the company. Again the Board pays tribute to the dedicated and expert team at Advantage and to those who lead them.

Consensus eps is for 2.34p in 2011 and 2.40p in 2012. Putting it on a perspective PE of 5.8.

It will be interesting to see how the integration of MCD has gone over the last 18 months.

Trading below NTV of 15.3p

I've only ever come across it when I put a thread up, all those years ago. I can't even remember why either. I have never held and will do some simple research when I have time. Cheers

I'm holding PDG at the moment as the worm seems to have turned there IMO.

"Can't see growth in transportation or cars. Wlll be good value circa below 15p, but until then I'm going to wait."

Time for me to load up now!! I do see the value, and just about time when all the restructuring over the past year is going to take effect and boost the EPS.

Wasn't he here in August espousing the virtues of these and their cheapness at 25p.

So Invesco were the buyer. How dull! Still, presumably they must have some confidence paying 13p per share for over 26% of the company.
