04/4/2006 17:30 | The dividend helped the share price - without it we could see further falls. Any positive statement on Thursday may support it, but I'm not holding out much hope. Could be a buying opportunity next week? | snagsby
04/4/2006 17:11 | Not looking good!!! Especially without a divi now. | warranty
03/4/2006 09:47 | So now we know why the results were delayed. The financing package provides a stable (if costly) forward platform. Results due now on Thursday. It will be interesting to see what they have to say about the way ahead. | brumont
01/4/2006 18:07 | At least they didn't release them today... 8-) | alexandrews
01/4/2006 17:59 | Not too sure why they've delayed results but it's not usually good news. Let's hope it's not like that this time and they should be out next week!! | warranty
31/3/2006 17:59 | AutoLogic Holdings plc ('AutoLogic' or 'the Company') will as usual be reporting its preliminary results for the full year to the end of December 2005 in late March 2006. Yeah right, the bloody little liars! 8-) | alexandrews
29/3/2006 01:00 | From the Pre-Close Period Trading Update (31/01/2006): AutoLogic Holdings plc ('AutoLogic' or 'the Company') will as usual be reporting its preliminary results for the full year to the end of December 2005 in late March 2006. So presumably the results will be some time this week? Alex | alexandrews
11/3/2006 10:19 | Yep I agree good riddance. It's made a big dent in earnings over last 2 years, almost negating the UKs good performance: 04 - Sales 85m, pre-tax (6m) net assets of 12.5m 03 - Sales 80.5m, pre-tax (5.4m) The group got 25.6m out of property sales in France in 03. No sign that recovery of Walon Fr is achievable any time soon and disposal is expected to be earnings enhancing in 06. Net cash 10.5m for sale, additional payments if performance improves. Adieu et bon chance (whatever), to them with it I say. | manzarek
06/3/2006 20:54 | Good riddance to the French arm for me it's only a shame CAT wasn't included. Employee relations are much worse than here and given that the transporter drivers are about the last bastion of trade unionism here goodness only knows what effect attempts to restructure in France would be like. Positive move for me as I don't see any great pick up likely in French car sales in the short term. That said they don't seem to have got much for the business but since it was loss making anyway maybe it would have been too expensive to try to turn them around. | warranty
06/3/2006 16:17 | With £40 million debt and £80 million less in revenues is this company now a little overvalued?Maybe they will give their stake away in CAT for £1 next. | she-ra
06/3/2006 15:14 | Hope the sale plus the Dutch restructure is enough to fill the hole left by the fifth banker. According to City wire, KBC Peel Hunt has raised its rating for Autologic to hold from reduce. | manzarek
06/3/2006 12:11 | Piedro, perhaps but £11m it is not a lot for £85m turnover, it must be leaking cash badly or they're under pressure to sell. It is hard to know if this is good or not but it doesn't feel like a fantastic deal | crusader rich
06/3/2006 10:09 | she-ra, No need to panic - they should have done it long ago. | piedro
06/3/2006 08:49 | Walon France sold.Autologic as we know is in talks with its bankers. So is this a Firesale? | she-ra
05/3/2006 23:28 | warranty, I hope you're right, I hold here so a quick turnaround would be great. I wouldn't be that unhappy if headline figures were a bit ugly including a divi cut as there will be a market over-reaction and a further opportunity at lower levels as the medium to long-term future in my opinion is better than the market currently rates them and will rate them at reporting time. | crusader rich
03/3/2006 08:22 | CR, time will tell but as an under-researched company and a market leader I think it's well oversold just now. I appreciate things haven't been good of late but that's already in the price for me and I see a recovering situation. I may be well wrong but I don't feel anywhere near as pessimistic as you and think they will hold the divi this time. CAT is for me the issue and if they can improve things there ALG should recover quickly. | warranty
01/3/2006 16:17 | No wonder the rumours persist with the balance sheet they have, the management could make a tidy profit at the current price. | fickena
01/3/2006 15:35 | Yesterdays rise down to more rumours.. | manzarek
28/2/2006 19:51 | warranty, I have to disagree mate, I think the divi will be cut at best and possibly gone. I think france will be ugly with maybe a better outlook to give us all a bit of hope. I think the UK will be solid and is holding things together at the moment | crusader rich
28/2/2006 15:44 | Depends on CAT we know the UK side is trading well and picked up several new contracts. Hopefully they're now turning it round as it's well oversold at this price imho. Can't see a problem with the divi. | warranty
28/2/2006 09:58 | Thanks JakNife, figures look good for '06 but not too pretty for '05. Also like the look of divi, if maintained. edit - suppose we'll soon know, finals to be announced in about 3 weeks time | oniabsta
28/2/2006 09:44 | Can anyone say what the for'c is for 2005 ? i can find them for 2006 (see below)but not for '05. Trading statement says will be in line, but with what i don't know Year Ending dec '06 Revenue (£m) n/a Pre-tax (£m) n/a EPS 14.06p P/E 7.8 PEG n/a EPS Grth. 10% Div 11.1p Yield 10% | oniabsta |
