|Not sure why punters are buying here?....are they not aware of the takeover?...|
|Another company sold at near lows...Stobart has got theses at a discount under the economic conditions...|
|The offer was obviously leaked.|
|Looks like the market are looking for stock here, could get interesting, come on the bid..!!|
|Well done diku, good deduction|
|Me thinks the bid could around 25p - 28p....No Advice Intended...|
|diku - it does look like so with today's tick up. I'm still expecting circa 20p bid though, so those with the info today don't look like making much... unless the bid is going to come in closer to 25p!|
|Think info has laready leaked hence buyers today.....those in the know are going to make easy money...|
|AGM on Wednesday...........|
|Still quiet here....|
|Getting closer to the bid timeframe....hope we get cash offer over 20p..|
|A couple of weeks out of date, but the last line may be of interest!!
|I would think Stobart would be reluctant to pay more than double the price the day of the announcement (11.5?), so I'm looking to exit if the price hits 20p before the firm offer.|
|Me thinks 20p - 25p.....|
|Lack of comment...?????
I have no idea what price we could get..??|
|Offer talks with Stobart confirmed (amazing prescience diku!):
|Keep coming back ALG, thankfully without pulling the trigger yet. Have to agree with Freddy, with one exception, I have TBV at 8.5m against MCap of 7.6......so it has that going for it :)
Lack of director shares is a huge turn off, they simply do not want to own this firm at the moment and that is a concern.
With a forecast decline in Rev and profit for 2012 it will remain on the watchlist for the foreseeable until something changes. Good luck all.|
|Yes I have said this in my past post that Stobart could be looking here to diversify into vehicle transportation etc etc....|
|Been looking for ages at this one, Invesco now have big slugs of both this and Stobart...a takeover looks increasingly likely..|
|Saw the headline on the Internet....sadly its not filtering here yet!.....
Boom times for the UK car industry|
|problem here is the combination of huge director emoluments in relation to profits, no director shares, no tangible assets, working capital all appears to be borrowed, emerging pension deficit problem.....question - is this in the price?
whats not to shudder at!
and no divi........either the company is earning or it aint|
|If and when the economy starts roaring ahead this will recover very quickly with new car regs....smaller loans are already available for customers with good credit history on favourable terms...
This has got to be a takeover.....possibly by Stobart Group who wants to diversify into other truck transportation areas...|
