24/9/2020 13:40 | MB, The timescale hasn't slipped yet - there is still nearly a week left in this quarter: 19/02/2020 07:00 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Audioboom Group PLC Review of Strategic Options - Formal Sale Process " ... The Board currently expects for the Strategic Review process (including the formal sale process) to conclude during the third quarter of 2020. ..." 21/07/2020 07:00 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Audioboom Group PLC Half-year Report "... Retained Raine Advisors Limited ("Raine") as financial adviser in relation to examining strategic options for the Company, and subsequently established a formal sale process pursuant to the Takeover Code. 24/9/2020 09:50 | Yes I know. I meant I think the timescale is slipping. | mrbear2
24/9/2020 09:47 | If the sales process was no longer in progress they should inform the market | rachelrileysbra
24/9/2020 08:43 | I assume we will get a trading update next month. Given that the 3rd quarter was supposed to be the time when 'the sale' would be completed, and given that timescale this looks unlikley, it would be nice to think that we would get an update on where we are with this rather than the rather vague comments that were made last time. I've been in and out of this share for a while now. It a bit like one of those work lottery syndicates, youre afraid to come out as you know as soon as you do they will strike the big win! I'm holding as I think there is little downside at the moment but not as much potential upside as once there could have been. I am also reassured by the amount that particulalrly Candy has in this one given his track record. We will wait and see. | mrbear2
23/9/2020 17:05 | Sorry Rachel, I misunderstood your post. Thanks for the clarification. Not sure whether it would be good or bad news that they want £7.50 per share: a premium of that size could be hard to achieve. However, weak sterling will make a US takeover of a British company cheaper than otherwise. Hopefully two sides will be willing to meet around halfway, at say circa £6.25 per share. It could be that some hard bargaining has been taking place during the recent 'radio silence'. | hedgehog 100
23/9/2020 16:43 | What I meant was the offers ( around £5) were not high enough. If you ask me, only speculating, is that Candy and Tobin will be looking for £7.5 | rachelrileysbra
21/9/2020 08:45 | Yep, tomorrow's the big day! | richyrich8
19/9/2020 21:47 | Sector is hotting up big time. Boom growth rate has been pretty impressive in all fairness. Unloved and lots of impatience (fell on low volume) as easy money could be made else where just recently. You could buy in Monday for 1.6 get an RNS Tuesday and bank 200% gain before breakfast is over. Alternatively they could announce no offer has been attractive enough and they will go it alone and end up waiting another 12 months plus before they see a serious up tick in share price | rachelrileysbra
19/9/2020 21:32 | Tnx RRS,BOOM's share price seeing fair amount of downward pressure, close to price mid March COVID crash. And previous to that share price was chugging along nicely 275p high.Wonder what's in store for next 3 months? Few signs that the sector is hotting up, making noise. Sounds like PI's bit peeved tho. Chairman seems like a bit of a doosh... | 46maxon
19/9/2020 17:48 | Hi all, a pertinent read.https://www.blo | 46maxon
19/9/2020 15:01 | Are you serious Rachel? | pmtomkinson
11/9/2020 15:19 | That is the million dollar question. | mrbear2
11/9/2020 14:11 | less than 3 weeks until the end of Q3 Shamelessly stolen from LSE "The Board currently expects for the Strategic Review process (including the formal sale process) to conclude during the third quarter of 2020" Deal or No Deal ? | rachelrileysbra
09/9/2020 15:48 | They could make an offer for IME. They have gone up 30% today. | garykc
09/9/2020 13:54 | probably because bra inadvertently stated above there were now no offers on the table | jasperthemonkeygod
09/9/2020 13:03 | All of you are such reliable sources - it seems so clear that companies are lining up to buy BOOM at a premium, so it's simply incomprehensible why the share price has dropped 9% today!Lol lol lol | thescoop
09/9/2020 11:59 | Last I heard was strong buy at 175.00... Told you so and all that... | richyrich8
08/9/2020 21:29 | Thanks for your insight! | daar
08/9/2020 14:32 | Last I heard was the offers so far were not high enough (hints at £5) and do not want to sell too cheap as they are still seeing great growth and believe that they should be profitable without further fundraising, albeit using the 4m draw down facility. Who knows all rumour and speculation. You cannot blame impatient investors when easy money can be made elsewhere at the moment. | rachelrileysbra
08/9/2020 14:14 | What's going on here? Surely no news is good news? | daar
03/9/2020 18:41 | this is Soon | jasperthemonkeygod
03/9/2020 17:30 | Soon what? | richyrich8 |
