Yes can buy today at 190, everything on Friday was NT though when price was 185.

Buying not possible all day and also most of yesterday, even £100 goes NT. I appreciate we're very low volume, but they'll happily take shares on a dummy sell.

Definitely some games at play with the MM.
They seem to be accumulating shares and want to keep the price down whilst doing so.
Which implies they have more to accumulate.

"Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, announces that the Company will provide a trading update for the quarter ended 30 September 2020 on or around 14 October 2020. At that time, the Company will also provide an update on the strategic review, incorporating the formal sale process (as referred to in the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, the "Code") announced on 19 February 2020.

The Company remains in an "offer period" as defined in the Code and the dealing disclosure requirements as stated in the Company's announcement of 10 February 2020 continue to apply. A further update will be made as appropriate."




They're being pretty tight-lipped, which is what you would expect if they are finalising a sale.

If the sale process was off, I don't see why they wouldn't have said so today, and indeed they should do so if that were the case.

And market makers also act as brokers, so can often have a good inside track on the outlook.
Yesterday they took on over £76K. of stock in just two trades, despite no buys yesterday, and the real bid price is going up. -

No inside info, it came from within the industry however, stating that plenty of companies were interested and saw good value in it.

Pretty much all the options covered with that one RRB :)

1. Going alone
2. Buyer interested but wants to see Q3 first
3. No Buyers interested at acceptable price but still for sale.
4. 1 Buyer has beaten off all other rivals.

You'll definitely be able to say I told you so to one of those outcomes!

What happened to your inside source giving you all the info during your recent trip to America?!

IMO either
Q3 is really good and they wanna go it alone to profitability
Q3 results are a caveat on a sale

They do not say they are 'still talking to numerous interested parties' so either no current offers are being considered and they are still for sale or they have honed in on one.

Will we ever know the true details of why this has taken so long. Should have been done and dusted by Easter. However these are strange times and perhaps a deal was close then along came the Covid virus as the new monkey on the back. But management have been so poor - and there will be a day of reckoning if this is not done and any hint of a stitch up. Relying on Raine to see there is a proper deal.

It's a great shame that Stuart Last is holding it back and has played a part in declining offers. Thankfully that can't last forever, eventually he will be overridden or maybe his thinking will really kick him in the nuts and he'll be outed.
