04/9/2017 18:33 | bracke Recovery? I guess the money you made in your AHT long will help, no doubt. Well done! | ianwwwhite
04/9/2017 18:29 | ian Although the share price has risen a good distance following the gap I would be inclined to wait and see if the rise continues to new highs before I was certain that it was a breakaway gap. Apologies about the "little short" comment old habits die hard and I'm still in recovery. | bracke
04/9/2017 17:56 | Hi bracke No need to 'tidy' a breakaway gap, surely, bearing in mind the context within which the gap occurred? 'a little short maybe in order' - go wash your mouth out! (with the greatest respect) | ianwwwhite
04/9/2017 17:45 | Good day Ian I was thinking of others when I suggested a fallback to 1595. It would be 'tidy' were the gap to be filled. Not withstanding the results, the direction of AHT and the rest of the market is at the behest of Mr um and Mr Trump. I suppose it depends if they are long or short. If it does 'fly up' following the results perhaps a little short maybe in order. | bracke
04/9/2017 17:26 | Good afternoon bracke A fallback to fill the gap at 1595 would be nice ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A revisit to 1740 would be more welcome, now than some of the more transitory holders have been shaken out :-) EDIT: URI presently up 2.1% (Fridays close), and AHT held up rather well in the face of sustained pressure, results imminent too (12th Sept) - I felt a little ramping was in order! . | ianwwwhite
04/9/2017 13:47 | Now that I'm no longer a share holder I feel free to make unpleasant suggestions. A fallback to fill the gap at 1595 would be nice. That would allow those who have sold could correct the error of their ways and buy back in. | bracke
04/9/2017 13:33 | Texas governor Greg Abbott estimates that hurricane damage to the state will be between $150 and $180 billion. | fenners66
04/9/2017 13:12 | Plus 500 (quoted ) operate spreadbet markets on cryptocurrencies. It has been liked to selling spades to Bulb growers. Up or down the Bookie can win. | fenners66
04/9/2017 11:11 | Good day uppompeii I recently saw a list of cryptocurrencies there were approx eight. I have read how bitcoin operates a couple of times and still don't understand it, so no chance of me getting involved with them. Having typed that I would be prepared to venture a fiver for £20,000 return. | bracke
04/9/2017 10:01 | I have sold all my AHT Shares. I was looking for 1740 but wary of the current situation and the possibility of a pullback. | bracke
04/9/2017 08:25 | Closed all bets and sold half of my shares. Do not like the look of the market . cheers | 2flatpack
03/9/2017 22:32 | Yes, that's so much better. | fenners66
03/9/2017 12:46 | ian I suspect fenners doesn't do irrational exuberance, more like the occasional frisson of moderate satisfaction. | bracke
02/9/2017 09:44 | fenners66 lol!! In my generation, it's expected of us! . | ianwwwhite
01/9/2017 22:12 | Lord knows I'm miserable enough on every other thread I go on...... | fenners66
01/9/2017 18:39 | bracke I just thought that 'the gap' issue needed to be restated in the context of the new 'Fenners happiness index' - we don't want another premature outbreak of irrational exuberance, do we? . | ianwwwhite
01/9/2017 18:31 | Please try and keep up ian. I mentioned the gap in posts 54276 and 54278. We now await the price action at 1720. US markets closed on Monday. | bracke |
