Good, a new thread, let us hope a new lift-off for the share price Springbok, seems sometimes that you are the man with the most faith. Let's face it, compared to some of the other little Chinese oriented stocks quoted in London, ARKO has been a massive disappointment. I've held them for a few years, looking like I'll have to hold for a few more. As Norman says, we'll just have to keep the faith. Though an orderly disposal of a large chunk of The Prisoner's holding would go a long way towards a market re-rating. Or even a rating...................

Still, it's a refreshing change to "where to next" - you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that this baby is heading northwards other the next month or so!

Shipping Logistics and Container Port

Hubei Coal Power Plant

Large Scale Coal Mining

With China's Exports growing rapidly and with its ever increasing demand for power ARKO looks like a safe play at these levels... Price target 4p...

Silicon Projects
Due to the trend of globalization and division of labor, the development of silicon industry in China will be beneficial to its downstream industries such like steel, aluminium alloy, chemical and electronic in terms of cost reduction. Recently, the Group has just completed a feasibility study on the construction of a silicon manufacturing plant with annual throughput of 50,000, which equipped with 8 sets of hot furnaces with capacity of 9600kva and 12,500kva respectively. Additionally, a low electricity cost and abundant natural resources in the north west China offered large potential to expand silicon industry there. It is anticipated that Ningxia would become a target for the Company to explore business in silica (raw material of silicon) mining.
