29/11/2016 17:24 | From that article: "The project stopped being profitable," Mendizábal says. In any case, at the moment there is a new company that will make an oil pipeline on a very similar route, west of El Orito. | foiledagain

29/11/2016 17:09 | Back from my exploits and confident in Amerisur My opinion supported by some comments I've heard is that a major holder is playing tricks here and it would not surprise me if the games are prior to an agreed bid from GT or a Chinese company. In my opinion someone wants the price down and are using their holding to do it, and its for a good reason In Vietnam for a few weeks so will log in infrequently but interested to see what happens from here. Its nothing to do with OPEC as low oil price helps Amerisur, because it will knock out below cost producers, or make some very juicy cheap acquisitions possible and below cost producers forced out will eventually spike oil and most big oilers know that. Its cheaper to acquire than it is to explore speculative leases and with a profit making company with money in hand and valuable infrastructure it might be too good for someone to ignore and I suspect Mr Wardle would not object if it meant keeping his job in a bigger company in Colombia, and Giles has more than enough to keep him busy. | foiledagain
29/11/2016 16:41 | If only you could spell I might take you seriously | lucyp00p
29/11/2016 16:20 | Back to 24p then... mmmmmDo yourselves a favour once you make your money back and sell and wait for the 20% ride ever interim statement from here to Q3 2017 as no oil is being sold by Amer people just big pipelines to carry it and they need to sell oil soon to make money, at $40 - 45 pb is he going to sell? Did he not say around a year ago $50 oil was when he would enter the market again and that aint happening any time soon. Dont be fooled by the ones on this string who talk this company up, they have done so for years due to some bad buys at top end and i fell for there nonsence too long time ago. Ride the wave on this stock, dont hold it... | francis55

29/11/2016 15:06 | There doesn't appear to be any justifiable reason for the drop, certainly nothing which is currently in the public domain. I did recently urge caution when some were getting ahead of themselves but having said that I can't see that a lack of news, the OPEC uncertainty or the ongoing Farc situation should cause us to drop nearly 20%. Let's face it, our fundamentals are sound and the company is continuing to grow, all be it at a slower pace than some of us would like......... | ladeside
29/11/2016 14:58 | Collapse it is then, I'm guessing the charts aren't looking great at the moment? 25p? My rules dictate I buy more at something around that level... or I dump the lot and walk away. They are there to concentrate the mind and ensure I'm not just holding on to a losing stock for the sake of it, but going to be tough to follow through if we keep on falling. | al101uk
29/11/2016 14:57 | The glass ceiling must be in an observation lift? They need to tell us about recent drilling results and patched up relations with shot up innocent injuns mistaken for farc'ers. | valentine

29/11/2016 11:42 | Can someone ask GC tomorrow how far he has gotten with smoking peace pipe with Pueblo Zaobains(Stone buildings tribe) and Sionas in Putumayo? Have Mariel Escobar and Marco Tulio Gonzalez of Amerisur had the meeting with local Governor Marco Erazo yet? If so they need to tell us the result. Was it in Cartegena on 26th Nov? Government troops with gunships harassing stone-age indians using modern warfare methods is not very good publicity. Maybe the Sionas are the new Farc? | valentine
