25/11/2016 12:08 | I'm with you on that Val, the longer I spend in GC's clutches the less I like it. Removed Ironveld and KENV from my advfn subscriptions because I just don't trust the management anymore. The fact that they've started using placing agents to punt stock out to PI's and started promoting through placing agents makes me think he's moved on from ignoring PI's to using them to shift stock II's won't touch. He's really getting the hang of AIM resource stocks and his companies are starting to smell like the rest. PI's get all the risk while the II's get to take on late stage placings at a nice discount on the understanding that the wheels of management are copiously greased. Meanwhile promises are broken again and again in the full knowledge that there's another bunch of suckers waiting in the wings. Sorry to those in IRON or KENV, I don't want to get in to the underlying merits of either company. This is a pure GC and AIM rant, nothing more. | al101uk
25/11/2016 11:21 | Not sure I totally agree with you Q. There are some heavy hitters operating in southern Colombia. Increased production plus, hopefully, some drilling success leading to increased reserves might stimulate the share price A lot less risky, I fancy, than Kurdistan. | blackdown2
25/11/2016 11:05 | The only ones going to walk away from this particular table with a pockful of spondulicks is the BoD esp one GC. I suspect that is why Rex H and crew folded and decided there is a better game, fairer, elsewhere. I hang in there but every time I get enthusiastic accumulating the share price gets shaved and my total is sandblasted and eroded somehow somewhere else. I recall the first presentation when Martin Groak was at the helm. I met one chap who, with his company in Monument EC4, had 7.5m and I was thinking I could do that and I did get a few more. Not long after the share price spiked to over 20p prior to a placing @15p I recall. I met the chap again at an AGM and he revealed he sold up and held 1m bought and paid for. He attended the AGM to see if there was anything in it again. I never met him again so I imagine he went elsewhere. My total is significantly reduced now.Oh to have had he bottle to sell around 64p. GC or any other member of BoD have not sold much, if any since inception. Last co JW was with sold up Colombia holdings ten years ago, at £4.40 overnight when trading at a fraction of that. I live in hope of course but long since given up hope this share will aid my own retirement. GC once said at an AGM it was his retirement fund and would not sell up before then. When is that likely to be? | valentine

24/11/2016 16:44 | Fact is guys most of us won't sell when it jumps to 35p so all we are whinging about is a warm fuzzy feeling ;-) | the dark horse
24/11/2016 15:54 | Broker was indisposed. He called and relented. Not too many but he still believes I'm top heavy. I did not dispute ha ha. Discussions with threatened locals need to go well this weekend. | valentine

24/11/2016 11:43 | AIM as a market has been dead for the past 3 years, there's very few success stories and more and more disasters happening than I can ever remember. Gone are the days of hot stocks and multi baggers across the board, it's more like breaking even is a major success nowadays and there's just far too many companies existing merely as vehicles to provide their crooked directors with a huge salary. Let's just say market sentiment is probably close to an all time low....... | ladeside
24/11/2016 11:20 | Only a few days away from Putumayo liaison meeting too. And a week to GC being in London for other co's presentations. Once they have agreement, and they will, they can truck in and stick as much as they like through the oba. | valentine
24/11/2016 11:20 | Patience will be rewarded here lots of news to come in pipeline (excuse the pun). With Ramp up of production planned for three producing fields and 10 new wells drilled (and payed for) and the possibility of deals with other companies for use of pipeline. No brainier to sit tight. | juuunx2
24/11/2016 11:10 | Not that surprised to be honest. AMER dribbling oil (well 1500bopd) through the OBA at the moment so majority(2/3rds) of production is still being trucked. Until we see OBA taking greater volumes & production being stepped up share price seems pretty full. Other oilers, like HUR & IAE, have seen far more positive price movements so hot money has flowed there. AMER will have its day, just needs more patience and crossed fingers that markets don't correct down before they do. I'm pretty hopeful that AMER will be taken out altogether in the not too distant future and that's how we'll earn a decent crust on our holdings. | rollthedice
24/11/2016 11:04 | It's got me baffled that's for sure | lucyp00p
24/11/2016 10:52 | I was hoping the train had left Punxsutawney for good. Now, it's as if the OBA never existed. Go figure. | bigwavedave |
