24/9/2018 09:56 | No sign in my Barclays account. I web chatted on Friday. Miraculously the cash had arrived at Barclays that very day and they would be applying it to the accounts in the next week or so. | glynedwards

10/9/2018 18:06 | Thank you. Was confused on the "slipping" dates. | russman
10/9/2018 14:59 | The report did say that distribution (including one on 15 August 2018)"have been made to shareholders" so I asked for clarification: "The third and final distribution was declared on the 15 August 2018 but due to the volume of members (circa 13,000) the cheques had to be printed in a different office and were then sent to a mailing agent to post the cheques on our behalf. I can confirm that the cheques were posted to members on the 7 September 2018 and should be with you this week. Please do let me know if you have not received your cheque by the end of the week." | culver
09/9/2018 06:54 | The Accountant of Court is also responsible for holding unclaimed dividends and unapplied balances lodged relative to liquidation/administ Now they need to wait to see if anyone objects to the "proposed final account" ...21 days I think. Then they can hold the close meeting and distribute so I guess we get the $$$ end of October/early November | marksp2011
07/9/2018 15:25 | The liquidators Proposed Final Account has been uploaded to: hxxp://rsm.insolvenc Case Code: 1082838 Password: mitB685Q The final distribution is 3.13577524413255p per share allegedly paid on 15 August 2018. Before you complain that this is over 3 weeks ago and you haven't received anything yet, I think they have been doing some cheeky back-dating. The report is dated 22 August but only uploaded today and, several days after 15 August, they were still telling me that the "final distribution will be finalised in due course" Not a hanging offence but back-dating is pretty unprofessional. The money (£76,361) held to cover uncashed distribution cheques discussed in this thread back in March appears to have been paid over to the "Accountant of Court" (google it!). Subject to everyone actually receiving their final distribution, I thinks this constitutes THE END! | culver
29/8/2018 11:50 | Thanks. hoping for 3p. | russman
28/8/2018 17:43 | So was going to February then they needed one letter from HMRC and it would be July/August now it is before 4 October !! last time they spoke to me it was 1-2p now it is 2-3p. Maybe we should let them delay more :) | marksp2011
28/8/2018 15:48 | Thanks culver, for your diligent research. Very helpful. | glynedwards
28/8/2018 15:35 | Latest from liquidators' office: "The Joint Liquidators are required to convene an annual meeting of the Company’s members by 4 October 2018. We therefore expect to issue the Joint Liquidators’ annual report and a final distribution to shareholders (of which there are in excess of 12,500), by this date. The rate of a final distribution will be finalised in due course and we are not able to give a specific quantum in the meantime. For context however, we envisage a final distribution could be of the order of 2-3p per share. This is indicative only and may be subject to significant change." | culver
20/7/2018 09:47 | Another month goes by....... | russman
19/6/2018 18:35 | Culver..... no def sub 2p. They won't say until HMRC confirm all due taxes are paid. They will chase HMRC next week | marksp2011
19/6/2018 18:10 | marksp2011- thanks for continuing to chase. It will be disappointing if it does turn out to be 1.5p/share as this would imply they didn't get a final distribution from SIW anywhere close to the £500k they estimated (or there were some huge expenses). Per last year's report cash at 04-07-2017 was £945k (= 5.17p/share)less distribution paid 24-07-2017 c£671k (= 3.669p/share)= c£270k (approx 1.5p/share). If they got a final distribution of £500k and knocking a bit off for expenses there should be cash of c£700k to give us a final distribution of say 3.8p/share. The annual report has to be made up to 04-07-2018 so even if there are further delays in the distribution, we should see the report within the next 2 months. We might get some indication before that if SIW's liquidator files his annual report made up to 15-05-2018 with Companies House in the next few weeks. Fingers crossed for over 3p/share! | culver
19/6/2018 16:42 | Waiting for HMRC to confirm they can release c 1.5p | marksp2011 |
