They added minutes of the EGM and Declaration of Solvency today. Latter shows estimated surplus of £2,778,039 which, if I've got the number of shares right (18,282,486 per 2014 a/cs), represents 15.19p per share. Have asked RSM for estimated timescale for distribution but no reply so far.

I hope so. Imperial Innovations have 16.3% after repaying loans fees etc they estimate they will get 4.8m about 20% less than 16.3% of the purchase price. Assuming that we still have 12% then the same maths would reduce the value into MDY to 19p. Then we have to repay fees, loans in MDY and sort out the liquidation so let's say that's another 20% to get the cash out to shareholders that brings it down to 15p but could be more or could be less. Not long to wait to find out. It's all a windfall to me.

MDY held 12% of Stanmore

18.3M MDY shares

£35.6M purchase price

23.3p less fees etc

There was cash in the bank on the last set of accounts but I guess the Directors will have paid that out to themselves

I haven't heard. Starting with the size of the buyout, then there's the proportion owned by MDY. Take off loans, fees etc. That should leave at least 10p per share, maybe 12p.

there's quality for you. Thats the second holding they struggled to locate even though it showed in my portfolio

I have voted against (not that it will make any difference).
I have not seen any figures but there are cheaper ways.
