03/5/2024 15:12 | "Focus on path to profitability is anticipated to result in better than expected losses ("LBITDA"2) halving year-on-year to £3.4m" "Thruvision expects full-year adjusted LBITDA to be in the region of £2.5m, " | pwhite73
03/5/2024 15:06 | LBITDA indeed, a new engineered term, coated with "nanene" and hideen within "cementene" to camouflage huge losses. | fuji99
03/5/2024 15:06 | You just need to be patient here. In the absence of any news the MM short down the stock and apply a drip drip effect on the share price using AT trades. Everyday it trickles down causing some PIs to lose patience and sell up. | pwhite73
03/5/2024 14:43 | resulting in some impressive LBITDA figures! | smokeyjohnson
03/5/2024 14:32 | "the graphene is finally delivering on its promise" - Definitely, making many people bankrupt in certain quarters. | fuji99

03/5/2024 08:31 | I see they are innovating a lot. To the term "EBITDA" or "Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Amortization" they have added the letter "L" = "Loss". Easy to confuse with EBITDA. | fuji99
02/5/2024 17:17 | FC - "I think the big money will be made for electronic material" Yes but that's going to come last for its an even bigger evolution for graphene. What's pressing at the moment is net zero targets to reduce CO2 emissions. This is why construction materials will be the first to adopt graphene on an industrial scale. | pwhite73
02/5/2024 16:53 | PW, good points but I think in those cases the companies had deep pockets to draw on, for example Elon Musk was able to spend time building Tesla because he had made his money elsewhere. Graphene is indeed an interesting nascent industry but I think the big money will be made for electronic material (think Paragraf large area genuine single atom thick) rather than GNPs. | forgottenchameleon
02/5/2024 16:06 | Handykart - Yes I'll give you that. However I have drawn a line in the sand from when NR resigned as CEO in March 2023. A lot had to be sorted out before the company could focus 100% on revenue and profit. A legacy of the NR days is still the mature businesses Total Carbide and AAC Cryoma. Once they are gone VRS will be down to only 22 employees from an initial 94 and be able to concentrate 100% on what it set out to be at the start of the turnaround strategy which is a light manufacturer and IP player. | pwhite73
02/5/2024 15:52 | PWhite, that is all true if companies revinue is growing. Especially if it grows and over fist. Unfortunately no sign of that at VRS. | handykart
02/5/2024 14:30 | VRS=CO2+SUNLIGHT=HOU (in that twisted world - Dimension) Fest | snaffleclamp
02/5/2024 13:57 | VRS = TSLA = Thriving | smokeyjohnson
02/5/2024 13:55 | I mean VRS = TSLA | festario
02/5/2024 13:44 | VRS + TESLA in PWhite's twisted view of the world. | festario
02/5/2024 13:43 | FC - "PW, I think a company is thriving when it is making sustainably growing profits." Not true a company can be ahead of the game and thriving but still reporting losses. Tesla is a prime example of this. The company was incorporated in 2003. Elon Musk joined in 2008 and the company made its first profit in 2020. This follows a similar pattern to all the great companies of the day including Microsoft and Apple. What I have repeatedly stated is that if a company is in a nascent market despite being loss making it can still turn from an ugling duckling into a swan. Versarien is in one such market, graphene. | pwhite73
02/5/2024 13:18 | Smokey, you will know when VRS is thriving because it will be heralded by the second coming of Mr Susan accompanied with the archangel Claris.PW, I think a company is thriving when it is making sustainably growing profits. Please be sensible. | forgottenchameleon
02/5/2024 12:45 | So every PLC is "thriving", until they go bust or get delisted. Great measure that. In the same vein they would also be booming, burgeoning, flourishing, growing, healthy, prosperous, robust and wealthy Bear in mind you're posting on a bulletin board for PIs. | smokeyjohnson
02/5/2024 12:21 | "The company is thriving at the moment." Yep. It's a parody account. Bravo. Well played. | kemche
02/5/2024 12:14 | sj - What Cybe certainly didn't have in mind were companies on its list that were bust or going bust. VRS is thriving as the recent contracts with MCK and Montana have demonstrated. The live issue here is that none of it is of any importance to PI shareholders unless reflected in a rising share price. That's what the company has to address. | pwhite73
02/5/2024 12:04 | PW, I'm not sure your reinvention of the word thrive was what CyBe had in mind in their text. | smokeyjohnson
02/5/2024 11:52 | Oi, PW this is you. | bbmsionlypostafter mk2 |
