07/5/2024 21:17 | 7 May '24 - 18:37 - 18189 of 18192 0 0 0 Seems what the company announces differs to the numbers mentioned by the rampers. Still not £6 btw, and the share price was hammered today, or did that not happen as well? ==================== This is what separates an investor from a gambler/amateur. The share priced dropped by a shade under 6% by Close. That is not "hammered" - that is a blip in the grand scheme of things and if you are going to get spooked / tumescent by a 6% change in a share price you shouldn't be here. To put it into perspective I'm now "only" an average of 54% up in 18 months since purchasing, not 60% Whoopy doo. I'm confident I'll make that up and them some. Go back to your crayons. | pulsey
07/5/2024 20:51 | Awful performance today. Even with many good things going for airlines these days (like record profits), any tiny hint of negatively and these airlines get smashed. Weeks of good progress trashed in a day. As I always did (and always do), a long long road for the share price to return to its glory days of 7 squid and up. HY numbers later next week. I guess we'll see what EZJ have to say about the negative news re air fares. | chiefbrody
07/5/2024 20:27 | Zam1 yes absolutely. I think on the summer routes ryanair are struggling to increase fares where they are are against other operators. Basically they expected a big rise and they will either match last year or be +5%. Actually it's still too early to tell for sure. I think that we'll see 6% of the summer easyJet capacity on the holidays sales. Even if the airline are flat this year the holidays profit will make for a stunning result The ryanair toxicity will be a factor in their future and O'Leary makes that worse. | sapphireblue1
07/5/2024 20:22 | Bought two lots todayOpportunity to top up.Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary said summer ticket prices were expected to be lower than previously anticipatedThis is not necessarily the case with easyJet | zam1
07/5/2024 18:37 | Seems what the company announces differs to the numbers mentioned by the rampers. As for debt going forward, the new planes planned are going to be paid for with what exactly? Seems rampers have their blinkers on. Still not £6 btw, and the share price was hammered today, or did that not happen as well? Excuse generators to the ready. | noramping

07/5/2024 17:21 | Much of the growth will be from easyJet holidays and that's their unique position. | sapphireblue1
07/5/2024 17:21 | Noramping filtered - You still haven't given any credible reason to back up your nonsense figures. You are rude and are merely a distraction. | xamf
07/5/2024 17:18 | Sapp, why isn't this £6+ like you promised I said I would go away if it made it and you should apologise and leave the thread because you misled, lied to people, you have no credibility The share price is now at its lowest point since Feb, seems you aren't good at predicting, the trend is down not up. | noramping
07/5/2024 17:11 | Winter loss is almost unavoidable given that they can't fully occupy their summer capacity in the winter. Even if the planes are full winter pricing is not commercial. Summer prices are typically 5x the winter fare. | sapphireblue1
07/5/2024 17:08 | Best case for any summer focused airline is winter minimal loss, spring modest profit and summer massive profit. easyJet Q4 is the summer and they will make around £750m profit if they have only minimal disruption. Q3 around £250m profit giving H2 ballpark £1bn profit. This is based on increased commercial activities and increased fares. The risk is disruption. | sapphireblue1
07/5/2024 16:41 | Noramping - You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Everyone knows their profits are always heavily weighted to the summer season. Read again the trading update you have added. Where does it say in that update that they will make a net loss this financial year - let alone the silly figures you are posting? Forecast net profit for 2024 is £519 million - a 60% increase over 2023. Noramping you are rude and don't provide any useful contribution. | xamf
07/5/2024 16:35 | Headline loss before tax expected to be £340 - £360 million | noramping
07/5/2024 16:35 | Added 3 sizable chunks whilst this nonsense persists. | sapphireblue1
07/5/2024 16:32 | Enjoy the boost..... | sapphireblue1
07/5/2024 16:28 | Noramping - now you just look stupid. FACT - For the last financial year ended 30 September 2023, easyJet plc revenues increased 42% to £8.17B. Net income totaled £324M. Get your facts right. | xamf
07/5/2024 16:24 | Its surging to £6, then £8 then the moon according to Sapp, but in the real world the share price is on a downward trend, just check out the graph from Feb onwards. Bubbling away sitting on losses. If EZJ concurs with Ryanair soon what will the share price be then? | noramping
07/5/2024 16:21 | Noramping - No I do through research before buying into a stock. After that, and assuming there isn't anything stock specific, I will top up on any dips. Today was no exception and seems (so far) to have worked perfectly. You really need to grow up. | xamf
07/5/2024 16:18 | Ita well overdone take many stop losses out, noramping away and do your homework 😆 your just fanny. Watch and weep this will surge back olup soon enough | datait
07/5/2024 16:16 | So you are in the know but asked why the share price dropped like a stone earlier? Like I said lap up Sapps propaganda and likely lose money | noramping
07/5/2024 16:08 | Yes, especially when you look at their cash generation since covid. You should do your homework. | xamf
07/5/2024 16:02 | Don't be rude noramping and grow up. It was clear to me on first inspection that any adverse news wasn't specific to EZJ and their their fundamentals hadn't changed. I sold a chunk this morning and bought that amount back at 501 - not because they are cheap but because of their projected growth in eps this year of 46% and the fact that they have £41 million net cash. I am sure you knew that. | xamf |
