"Leyshon Resources Limited (Administrator appointed)

Having been unsuccessful in attempts to acquire a new project and recapitalise the Company, the directors appointed Mr. James Thackray of HQ Advisory Services as Administrator of the Company on 22 May 2019. His appointment was confirmed at the first meeting of creditors of the Company held on 31 May 2019.Based on the results of his investigations into the status of the Company, Mr. Thackray issued a declaration to shareholders that their shares in Leyshon Resouces Limited have no value"

Berkeley Energia Limited ("Berkeley Energia" or "the Company") advises that Mr Paul Atherley has resigned as Managing Director and CEO of the Company to concentrate on his other investments in the resource sector.

Thanks for the update flyfisher, may I ask what kind of Enquiries you made? I’m surprised PA hasn’t wound this up to be honest and can’t help but suspect shenanigans if he hasn’t given the lack of any communication.

The company said this on 13/01/15.

'It is currently estimated that it will take approximately 6-12 months to discharge or settle the Group's liabilities.
Following the discharge or settlement of all of the Group's liabilities, the Company will call a general meeting at which Shareholders will be asked to consider winding-up the Company or any alternative business proposal.'

I guess we should hear something shortly.

Interesting! There was still a heap of cash in leyshon after the cash distribution, with 8.6 to 9.3m usd for provisions... I would like some update and accountability in how this is being spent...may be Paul's buying back shares on the matching facility

HL credited it days ago (as huxley1, above).
Selftrade/Equiniti credited today.
Barclays show nothing yet - last as usual.
I assume HL received an electronic credit while the others must have waited for postage and clearance of paper cheques.

I must say, HL do appear the most efficient of the brokers I have used - Recently transferred an ISA to then from Selftrade following the latter's idiotic questionnaire fiasco. However, HL do have a few idiosyncrasies such as differentiating cash between capital and income so it is not automatically available for reinvestment without arranging a transfer.

I am with Selftrade (recently taken over by Equiniti). The latter don't seem to know anything about the cash dividend and told me to contact them again in a few weeks!

Received a cheque today in Perth Australia, exchange rate used was 1.9491. My calcs estimate a 1.5% commission to NAB using the interbank rate at Oanda.com for the 20th Feb of 1.97942. That comes out at 1.53%....more than likely 1.5% on an intra day rate

Huxley that's good to hear! Im in Australia and not familiar with the mechanics of an isa, other than its tax effective. My question is, did you receive a cheque or was it an electronic payment?

Im looking in the letter box every day but reckon mine is still a week away.

Any info on this appreciated!

Aus payments are being done in AUD, also very curious to see what exchange rate was applied. I'll post that info when I find out, but really I feel the company should advise on their website.

I think there may be a distinction between "unlisted" and "delisted" as a share can be delisted (e.g. in London) but remain listed elsewhere.
LEN will become totally unlisted.
As far as ISA's are concerned, it sometimes seems to depend on whether the administrator is awake!....
.... sleeping dogs and all that (of which I have too many.)

Rvsy, I have held unlisted shares in an isa with td direct for several months. All brokers may not operate the same, however.

flyfisher - I understand you can't hold unlisted shares in an ISA but do check this out for yourself.
