@useless:whose selling?
People who want to claim their End of FY capital losses are selling. Obvious. I expected a bit of fall in DEC and followed by a bit of rise in January.

Even if the cash is less than what Socktrade says, still cash backing is much higher than current share price which makes selling for me ridiculous.

I have a large holding already otherwise would be buying.

Has anyone asked for a copy of a share registery to propose a special resolution? I.e. capital distribution for starters

they do not even need to advise market of the results from the interim program! £4m mcap says it all imo....

they did say the programmae will be completed by the end of this Year, so i guess i will wait for another few weeks before xmas as we should get an update.. and then make a decision to sell or not ive waited this long so a few weeks wont do any harm

rct.. i have bought solid companies.. but with a £60k loss here.. buying solid companies is not going to make money back, the only option is to either wait on len.. or to sell up and buy other aim stocks .. which will mean i either make my money back or lose the lot.. whats done is done.im just hopeful that a deal is being sorted out.. and that well 8 is a success. wishful thinking.. but i can only be hopeful with such a massive loss

sock, my best advise to you is to read some books on investment, you are making lots of basic mistakes and losing money as a result. The best returns are made by buying solid companies and holding their shares over a long period of time. Jumping in and out of risky stocks is a high risk strategy that most fail at.

you sold out so many times that i think you've lost count....

and there's no chance of this going to double digits.

Just wish i never found this stock.

wordog.. I think there is a greater chance of this hitting double digits than the company going bankrupt.i have only sold a few grand which i trade with on other shares.. im currently down tens of thousands of pounds here.. makes no sense selling to put into other riskier aim plays.. might aswell hang in here with the cash that they have available..

I'm with RCT on this. There will be less cash than you think.

well actually we will have around $21m after the interim programme, they are not stupid... if they see no value then they will not spend another penny..at the same time they are most probably working on a deal. nobody can argue that double digits wont be hit if we get an acquisition and start drilling new wells on a new asset.. double digits will be hit its case of when

I don't think there is anywhere near as much cash left as you seem to think.

Sirman True.. but if the interim programme is unsuccessful i very much doubt they will sepnd another penny of the the field. They bid on 3 assets.. but were outbid or the deal didnt complete due to circumstances beyond their control..i do believe that double digits will be hit when they buy a new asset... and start drilling wells on that asset... the share price will rerate, at 12p its a market cap of circa £30, will we have $20m cash and an asset which will be bought on a fully funded basis as per the rns

Socktrade...high calibre of the BOD ?..well they have decimated the share price from 20 to 2p over the last 2/3 years whilst taking their full salaries plus bonuses and just this year not delivered what they promised i.e. not executing a single further drill nor completed as yet the so called ongoing tests on ZJ7 plus not come up with any imminent deals they have been "looking at "....but let's hope they actually ear their salaries next year and do some smashing deals....the jury is out...!

I want gains, I don't mind how long they take. I sold at just under 5p as the writing was on the wall. This type of stock is very risky, to be honest I prefer less risky stocks, they seem to do better.

you seem to want quick gains...they were unlucky but the tide is turning, and we will find out what's going on in a few weeks, i suspect that a deal is being sorted, if you read the previous RNS it says the following

"As previously announced, Non-Executive Director Kim Howell has purchased 300,000 shares in line with the commitment to purchase shares in the Company made by Directors at the Annual General Meeting. Further purchases by Directors will be limited by Close Periods and during those periods when the company is actively involved in transactions during which purchases by Directors are not permitted"

Why tell us that director buys will be limited by closed periods when the company is actively involved in transactions during which purchases by Directors are not permitted" what sort of transactions do you think they are talking about RCT? take a guess? an acquisition
