10/12/2014 18:20 | I wouldn't touch SER with a bargepole, socktrade. People invest in risky AIM shares because they think they will become very rich; however they are more likely to become poorer. Often very much poorer! People buy AIM shares because of greed and then live to regret their greed. | papillon
10/12/2014 18:15 | You are probably correct, Cupra Kid. | papillon
10/12/2014 17:15 | Very disappointed with this RNS and sold subsequently sold half my holding. At present the cash is circa 4p however I believe this will drag on for quite a while and the cash pile will dwindle. GLA | cupra kid
10/12/2014 16:54 | try to relax... we all take hits....that's the game....overall your winners must be more than your losers.... this is a long term game...gambling style wont take you far... try to clear your head...then you can enter the markets again... | pro_better
10/12/2014 16:23 | why though I have a feeling that we wont see a penny after all?? | pro_better
10/12/2014 16:15 | well..the sooner they wind this company up the better a more chance of us shareholders getting at least 4p a share. It is a great favor PA can do to redeem himself by moving along swiftly after the debacle of the last 3 years. the more they linger the less the cash we may get back....imo | sirraman
10/12/2014 14:35 | 4p is the floor....come on! | pro_better
10/12/2014 14:02 | up 23% you cannot make this stuff up ... | edward3
10/12/2014 13:32 | CaptK i didnt mean to be overly negative, processing the mill scat ball at mt leyshon is a chance, but mining again there highly unlikely | propunter23red
10/12/2014 13:23 | its silly to buy now.. cash may be worth 4p but they didnt say when they will return cash... so expenses will continue... so that 4p per share wont be 4p anymore | socktrade1
10/12/2014 13:14 | Red Not the dark horse I had in mind :) | captain james t kirk
10/12/2014 13:09 | Dyor, but i hear Mt Leyshon is Newmonts rehab nightmare, they turned the river yellow, another thing PA never shared... | propunter23red
10/12/2014 12:50 | rns 1st Feb 2013: Leyshon Resources Limited (AIM/ASX:LRL) announces that it received notification yesterday that Paul Atherley, a director of the Company, purchased 1,800,000 Ordinary Shares at 14.91 pence per share on 25 January 2013 in AIM on-market trading. His resultant holding in Ordinary Shares in the Company is 31,330,000 ordinary shares representing approximately 12.56% of the total issued share capital of the Company. Frankly another £260,000 worth in his overall scheme of things was fairly insignificant. A token. The other point and possibility (ever the optimist) is this. Was LRL always the lifeboat if an alternative investment went pear shaped. Mt Leyshon is still a dark horse and to all intents and purposes (oil crisis permitting) Tungsten looks promising. | captain james t kirk
10/12/2014 12:43 | I'll tell you one thing that has occurred to me several times, and that is whether the infamous PA share purchase was actually real. I wonder. | rcturner2
10/12/2014 12:42 | That would be the funniest thing ever if they did. Split the company, fees all round, double the salaries, whoops 6 months later join them together again, more fees again, more bonuses, triples all round. | rcturner2
10/12/2014 12:37 | Could it be a possibility that LEN links back up with LRL on a project that Paul may be more familiar with. LRL need money to finance the tungsten project? | stringvest2
10/12/2014 12:30 | Fee cuts likely dont include expenses, such as PA's 6 figure living allowance. Refer to LRL's last annual report, who knows what he is paying himself for an 'allowance' now | propunter23red
10/12/2014 12:06 | Cap'n kirk You may well ask but I couldn't possibly say. | rvsy38
10/12/2014 11:57 | ''The statement in the RNS about directors fees and cutting other costs counters the oft repeated claims that PA and other directors are living high off the hog.'' they are cutting fees NOW...at the end! -------------------- ''PA has more to lose than any of us with his 13% holding including his last large purchase of shares at 15p.'' how much he made these years from salaries and bonuses? also his big buy allowed him to have a big stake at LRL as well...IMHO his £280k buy was more stake-building and tax issue rather than for clear investment purpose... .................... well at least we will get something out of our initial investment! if they manage to sell the asset then we may even get some extra cash... | pro_better |
