bsg, I guess taking it private is a possibility. However, all the financial support for the company in recent times has come from Abramovich; none from Bandbear. The equity element of the new development plan, should it be implemented, will also come from Abramovich. With Bandbear effectively out of the way, Mr. A may be happy to push on, invest further and make the company a public success. Perhaps a takeover bid this time next year? That, I hope, would make him, and us, a lot of money. And, in his case, a public success. Gazprom at £2.50 anyone?

Bandbear wanted out. Getting 29p a share for such a large sell sounds pretty good to me. It also indicates Abramovich's commitment to the project. Patience required, I guess

There was a sell of 40,000 reported just after the close yesterday. Presumably it happened much earlier in the day and that it explains the mark down. The MMs are probably square after today's trading.
