Then we might have two scenarios. Best case scenario: a take out from a major Russian oil Co according to P3. Worst case scenario: tender offer to buy the remaining shares. But at what price? I do not see them offering much more than 30p given the current (and bad) situation

Even with 100% premium offer for buy-out outstanding shares will not compensate the long term suffering shareholders .

They may tender an offer to come off AIM, it’s all about at what price.

Energy prices seem to be hitting multi year highs again. The Zoltav assets (including the oil) must be very valuable. The financing is in place to develop the gas fields over the next decade (which gives huge certainty to the prospective value of the asset). Mr. Abramovich is about to exercise his option to convert debt at 27p per share. Could it be that a Russian major makes a bid for Zoltav later in the year? It would work well for Mr A; it could also work very well for shareholders!?

The issue of the delisting is my big worry

They will be unlisted from AIM shortly, once diluted by shares in payment of loan at 27p. Question is where do the funds come to buyout existing ff holders, or do we now become shareholders in co with no trading liquidity.
Really annoyed they have not published the results of the survey that enabled the bank loans, this would scale expected output and should then be reflected in the share price (or maybe that’s exactly what they want to do)
Only thoughts, not facts….

Feels like they know exactly what they are going to do but are not executing it yet. There has to be a full plan behind the announcement, it would not have signed the loan agreement without it

Perhaps you should ramp your share somewhere else

I imagine the banks would have required an updated valuation; it would be nice to have it issued

This company is going to be taken over by one of the majors in due course (IMHO)

The Board and management will conduct a thorough and c omprehensive analysis of alternative options to enable the Company to finance or, if necessary, reduce the Company's corporate overheads. However, given the Company has for some time been unable to attract either public or bank finance, it is likely that the Company will be unable to maintain the listing of its ordinary shares on AIM beyond the next few months. Further information will be provided in due course.

Yep! Natural gas in N-Y up more than 20% in a few days and Brent has indeed gone through the $80 a barrel.

It seems crazy, but the natural gas price in the U.S. has doubled over the last four months! Brent is knocking on the door of $80.
