Book, by the end of this year, the company should be reasonably profitable. So, that's a good point of departure. I presume the independent expert analysis, which is part of the FS, will have new estimates of reserves and value. We will see. My best guess is a very attractive FS, project finance package, and the conversion of Mr A's loan to equity. And, in due course, a take over by one of the Russian majors. IMHO that take over will be at a multiple of today's price. I'm content to be patient.

P3, I see your pont but what sort of price tag would you put on this Co (keeping in mind the depressed oil and gaz prices, at least for now). We still haven’t seen this famous and long awaited feasibility study. Why are they not giving out more details?

Quite rightly the market likes the H1 report. One of the things that stands out is
"With the impact of several successful development wells and a 7.2 km looping pipe coming into operation during or after the period, the Company expects to deliver sustainable gas production of at least 35.3 mmcf/d (1 mmcm/d) by the end of 2020."
That's an increase in daily production of 35% compared to H1 2019, and of 45% compared to H1 2020!

Market Cap of only £55 million. The company is worth many, many multiples of this. In my view a prime takeover target; but not too soon, I hope.

The Book, it seems to me that at any given time there will be people who need a bit of cash for whatever reason. I guess the drift allows those of us with a little cash to buy some more at a lower price

In the Annual Report it is stated
"Non-current assets impairment charge of RUB 2.8 billion (USD 45.2 million) as a result of disappointing drilling results on the Karpenskoye field". USD 45.2 million in relation to this field alone! Zoltav has many fields here. The company's capitalization is only USD 57 million. It has got to be worth many multiples of this. How unfortunate would it be not to have Zoltav shares the day Gazprom comes knocking on the door!

The Annual Report published this morning is primarily about 2019 when production was down and the spend on new expertise/personnel was substantially up. But with regard to the current year, I liked the following
A programme of two standalone vertical wells (Zhandovskoye Well 106 and Zhandovskoye 105) and construction of a 7.2 km looping pipeline was implemented in 2020 which, together with the contribution from the successful 2019 side-track wells, are expected to enable the Company to sustainably reverse the production profile on the West Bortovoy fields during the course of 2020

No it's not. The Annual Report should be published by Wednesday. The current RNS refers to the Interims for half one 2020. So, no big deal. Given COVID, I think its quite reasonable.
