I doubt if they woke up one morning last week and decided to sell and the company said we will buy them as soon as they told them later the same day.

This has been in the pipeline a few weeks at least I would suggest. As is very much an insider sell.

I would assume there is a reason for doing it now before any updates.

It would be strange to do it after a good update and the optics not great.therefor better before any update and get out of the way.

Also if trading were bad they would not be allowed to move the shares so near an AGM/ update. As at AGM they are bound to be asked how trading is going. If they don’t say at least in line with expectations, they could not sell so near.

Just my thoughts.

Yes. Just let them get on with running the company. Plenty of scope to expand business. They haven't let us down and keep upping profits and forecasts. Plenty of value to buy in this one but the doom mongers never say die.

Well a decent retrace in the end and the sun is shining , what more could one want. Maybe a chance to have their share options at their price

Well as expect a few panicked sellers this morning, the question is at what price does the share price become insanely cheap ?

Yes - they would therefore have to be lying about the above that is available in print to check (if that was the reason for those chaps to be selling).
As debatable the timing is to us (who are fairly well down the priority list) - that is just ludicrous and as you say, probably illegal also.

Directors topslicing their holdings is fine by me.....but these directors aren't doing that, they are selling a significant proportion of their holdings. What intrigues me is the collateral to be given to Shell. The consultant that was involved stated there was collateral and we know, or assume, it's not cash. But Shell sure as hell ain't doing it for nowt. Is Bobby boy going to transfer some of his equity at an agreed price to Shell?, they get a chunk of the business?, he gets to step backa bit and enjoy his wealth.....which I'd actually see as more of a positive than a negative, but then again Shell didn't too well with their own retail business did they!.

'The behaviour of mgt in terms of managing shareholder expectations is shocking tbh.'

12x increase in 'progressive' dividend manages my expectations pretty well! Do you know of any other companies that have done/or are doing similar on this scale on AIM?

2024/25 we have been told (via company handbook) that there will be future buybacks/special payments as well. Pretty good for my future expectations and that's not made up.

Of you read back I was positive on yu a while back but I try not to wear rose tinted specs. I suspect this will turn out to be a storm in a teacup in the short term at least. Sparky posting every second of every day here is odd. Then on the other board you have a guy reaching his own posts. Bizarre

This bb sums up advfn. People here constantly slate pi's for selling yet vehemently defend director selling. You couldn't make it up!

I don't feel the need to post regularly. I hold small amounts of yu on and off. Believe it or not I bought a few yesterday so bad timing on my part but it was not a huge amount. I actually said it would be surprising if a poor update was issued after such large director sales and as such, I may even buy a few more. As ever on these bbs opinions are only welcome if they are positive. Fact is this share is constantly cheap. Why is that? The behaviour of mgt in terms of managing shareholder expectations is shocking tbh.Irregular trading updates with no consistency in terms of timing. It's not surprising investors stay away.

Uncanny - I believe the last time you were here, allstar4eva is when you were bemoaning me for saying why would PI's sell before an update that is just around the corner...the price was £12/£13 odd before going onto £19 and then you pretty much vanished from this bb. Now you are back doing exactly the same thing i.e appearing (sharply) with a bit of a negative spin about hunches/body language and why shouldn't PI's sell if directors are... Very similar to before and we know what then occurred! Just before AGM, dividend date and possible TU thereafter! What about known facts over body language and hunches for goodness sake?
You seem to appear on controversial days to sow seeds of doubt and discontent.
We saw similar price action last May - share price went down heavily then rebounded to new highs. This year the company is in even better nick but the same thing always seems destined to occur on the wonder that is AIM.
Finally, CEO BK hasn't sold one of his 8.665 million, so I'll take more notice of that for future direction of the company.
