17/5/2024 07:20 | He did it back in 2020 I think when the share price was 165p look where we are now. | ![]() sparky333
17/5/2024 07:18 | I’ve been a holder of these a good while, I don’t like this, the chief financial officer selling out, took his options then sold them straight away, then the company buys back 234,000 shares at £17 to put into treasury for future options. This CFO doesn’t have much confidence in this company | ![]() ricky46
17/5/2024 07:13 | Well it's hard to criticise YU when one has done so well with their investment here. However, the option pricing is criminal IMHO and it really grinds my gears. | ![]() cocker
16/5/2024 19:48 | Thanks for the info re YU. job site Dave Bodes well | ![]() gswredland
16/5/2024 16:40 | Continually going on about 5 year old data (15/5/19 - 150p SP) in a forward thinking market really sums up the quality of the argument. Pitiful to be brutally honest. | ![]() daveboy19
16/5/2024 16:20 | Maybe they can get bad debt provisions down the 1.3% like octopus ? With all those smart meters Or are Octopus just very lucky there millions of domestic are all good at paying and YU clients are terrible at paying lolOne of them is wrong either octopus are overly optimistic are YU are overly pessimistic I know which I would prefer, because it will come back if overly cautious in 2023 especially when. Ash collection was 98%. | ![]() sparky333
16/5/2024 15:49 | Just had another look on the Yu jobsite - they have filled loads of dual meter engineering jobs. There was nearly 70 on there for a fair while and now there is just 14. That's an excellent sign for them moving forward in the remainder of 2024 and 2025, judging by what they have already achieved and their stated target. Very exciting what they can do now. | ![]() daveboy19
16/5/2024 15:40 | One thing that hasn't happen yet or may never will is the fabled fall in energy prices to pre covid level. Funny thing is they are actually higher than this time in 2023.So all the assumption made to date are woefully wrong. With the Slovakia attempted assassination Europe is even more unstable. Ergo more upside risk to energy prices in my opinion. | ![]() sparky333
16/5/2024 15:40 | Yeah hopefully by end of may | ![]() johndoe23
16/5/2024 15:35 | TU will come when we all least expect it | ![]() sparky333
16/5/2024 15:32 | Yep investors do not like it , but sadly it's life we all need cash for deposits, cars, divorce etc etc but investors do not see it like that they assume. This is why like last year we are in no mans land and very close to half way through the year other than at the FY saying 2024 was off to a blinder we are all in the dark.Bears and bulls. | ![]() sparky333
16/5/2024 15:22 | Don't think that director sell ,regardless of the amount was best of timings..... bwdik | ![]() sos100

16/5/2024 12:26 | 100% agree we shouldn't have to second guessThere is no obligation for a TU unless they are raising or lowering expectations. | ![]() sparky333
16/5/2024 12:15 | Shouldn't have to guess tbh. Companies have financial calendars for a reason | ![]() allstar4eva
16/5/2024 11:43 | So looking back 2023 31st May TU standalone post AGM 2022 26th May TU with AGM 2021 27th May TU with AGM AGM this year like 2023 is earlier than previous years So doesn't take a rocket scientists to assume 2024 TU will be back end of May as they have given a TU every May either with the AGM or post the AGMIf investors want to miss out on the Dividend and TU that's a big risk in my book especially when we were told 7 weeks ago 2024 was off to a flyer. | ![]() sparky333 |
