02/3/2022 07:59 | Iceberg lseLooking at the latest RNS today. It's worth stepping back and looking at what XTR have achieved in the last 12-15 months.Bushranger is a deposit that has bamfoodled many geologists and many companies.XTR have stepped in and found a massive system at race course nearly 2 km long and a second porphyry at ascot below this. They have done so much drilling and have looked at it correctly through the lens of more surveys, all this in the 12-15 month timeframe.Anyway back to the RNS - Ascot is providing up as thought, personally I am glad that they are talking about it extending south now, as that it what I've been banging on about for months . I've always been a bit perplexed about the centre bit between Bushranger and Ascot, I am not sure why they thought it would be heavily mineralised, it doesn't look like it is, but thats not a problem. Does bushranger extend south? I am not convinced imo But i do think that a further porphyry might exist to the south of Bushranger and to the west of Ascot, following the same angles as bushranger and ascot. As i said last year , I also think a porphyry exists to the east of Ascot.I don't think Xtract have really done anything wrong, they have been pretty spot on with everything. I don't think the market has awoken to what is in the ground. | rodney101
02/3/2022 07:25 | Coli n Bird, Executive Chairman said: "The drilling speeds and operations at site are progressing very satisfactory with a lot of core being generated, and geological logging results being vital to future decisions, the suite of holes in this RNS are all assisting our knowledge of the ore bodies and their disposition. We continue to amass good intersections whilst testing the perimeters, which is necessary for final modelling. The current geophysics together with this information, and once granted, the new drill pads will allow us to efficiently target and move toward our stated objectives. The results continue to give us confidence in the conceptual open pit at Racecourse and the potential of the Ascot discovery." | goforgold1
02/3/2022 07:04 | Highlights -- Seven further exploratory drill holes have been completed on the project, which were all located in the southern area between the Racecourse and Ascot prospects -- Initial core logging suggests that the Ascot mineralised zone extends for at least 300m along strike -- Drill holes BRDD-21-038, BRDD-21-039 & BRDD-21-040 were designed to test for northerly and southerly extensions of Ascot. All three holes intersected porphyritic intrusives and strongly altered volcanics, with multiple intervals of weak to locally moderate chalcopyrite mineralisation, including some stronger zones in BRDD-21-038, located 200m south of the Ascot discovery hole -- Drill holes BRDD-21-041, BRDD-21-042 & BRDD-21-043 were angled towards the west into the southern extension of Racecourse, all holes intersected porphyritic intrusives and strongly altered volcanics, with wide zones of visible weak to locally moderate chalcopyrite, including several sub-intervals of stronger mineralisation, all with the potential to extend the Racecourse mineralisation to the south -- Drill hole BRDD-21-037, planned to test a separate resistivity target some distance to the east of Racecourse, appears to have drilled the outer perimeter of the deposit, with relatively weak alteration and copper mineralisation -- Structural information suggests that the Racecourse porphyry swings towards a southerly strike direction as it moves towards the south and follow-up holes will be collared from drill pads located further to the west, for which approval is expected shortly from the NSW authorities | all in eol
02/3/2022 00:49 | Plus gold, silver, uranium...:) Just look at the news out from AURA yesterday. If you want to become wealthy in the next few years, find a small cap resource stock proving up a massive copper project in a safe country (Western version of what constitutes safe). 01/3/2022 12:48 | 👍 for that link, TCofMC. Pierre Lassonde is one man whose opinion one should take notice of and heed. The cost of living will skyrocket. Inflation levels like the '70's again? Thankfully I packed up driving so I don't have a greedy car to fill with fuel. PS goforgold1 was predicting a continued rise today in the XTR share price He was wrong. He needs to ignore day to day fluctuations in the share price and concentrate on the longer term trend. That is most definitely upwards for the XTR share price | papillon
01/3/2022 12:47 | Count Thank you That was very generous of you- thoroughly enjoyable. Certainly needs to be seen at least twice. It was a complete exemplification of your portfolio strategy of concentration rather than diversification. What`s more is that you are young enough to be able to see that scenario unfold ( nuclear war permitting) and I envy that. | arcadian
01/3/2022 12:20 | Oil was going up, regardless of Ukraine, they aren't finding any big fields anymore. When they do, like the recent one off Namibia they are in deep water. Big oil has stopped exploring due to pressure from shareholders, BP has gone green. This energy crunch has a long way to run yet. Understand it and profit from it:) | the count of monte_cristo

01/3/2022 10:05 | The Diddymen, yes one 'superpit' spanning across Racecourse and Ascot would be nice if the grades are close enough to surface, etc. I really don't mind the timelines because they are methodically going to increase the size and scale and add significant value resulting in a better end game for us shareholders. | the count of monte_cristo
01/3/2022 08:45 | Think I was wrong over XTR/AA. From the pdf of the holes it appears the delay in RNSs is as a result of head scratching and rather than an asprin they are using geophys. The geophys signals a recalibration and taking a more deliberate route which will almost certainly extend time lines, but should improve the ultimate consideration. I think that CMC will be very pleased. The issue of Africa will become important, particularly the cash flow and CB needs to be getting that unequivocally lined up; shareholders will not want any unnecessary placings. One risk as ever with Africa is the movement of foreign currency - hopefully that will not present as a problem. | the diddymen

28/2/2022 23:55 | I was being sarcastic in my post 5019, All In Eol. My sarcasm was directed at Rodney 101. Please ban me from your thread because I'm getting rather fed up with the personal criticism I'm receiving from you and certain others on this bb. If you ban me it will save me wasting my time posting. | papillon

28/2/2022 22:29 | No, All in Eol. Rodney 101 only joined advfn last Wednesday. Look back at his posting history. Last Wednesday he said that he had absolutely no knowledge of XTR. Now he posts on XTR as if an expert. I'm beginning to think you are unfairly targeting me. If you want me to prove my sanity then send me a PM and we can arrange a meeting. I'm beginning to doubt your sanity. Perhaps if we meet up you can prove your sanity to my satisfaction? I'm a very rational person. I believe in the facts. Do you? I'm beginning to doubt that.
