Paps,
You swap and change between stocks, say you have sold out of this and that too soon, topping up etc, so given you say you only have a certain pot invested you can see why I’m posting such.
Anyway what I’m getting at is that it’s not all about you, I understand what you say about this being your soapbox but just read back what you post and how many times you post O/T etc. and tone it down a bit.
Did the UT not set the closing price as far as advfn was concerned and was higher than the spread would have set the close? Tomorrow’s open will probably be different depending on many factors…

Well paps if you keep guessing every day there will be an RNS tomorrow you will get it right one day.
Been so long since a drilling update and also overdue an assay result that the odds are stacking in your favour.
Why not chill and stop trying to preempt like a trader you say your not?

There has to be a good reason why the XTR share price has stayed so relatively strong today. Is it because of XTR's brilliant prospects in Australia, or because of an RNS tomorrow?
By contrast another copper explorer, PXC, was down 10% today. PXC is exploring in safe Idaho, USA.

In fact the XTR share price only closed down 1.72%. An RNS on the way tomorrow? 🤞

I think the XTR share price has held up rather well considering, bearing in mind the news today. It's only down 4.31% on the day, whereas another copper explorer, African based ARCM, is currently down 8.97%.

I don't know what you think you are laughing at. I need to keep the heating on.

This pull back is a real bonus for holders as at some point we will get confirmation of the size quality and extent of Ascot and then we can all add to our holdings and if Ascot has significant amounts of gold we will be even better placed to strike a very good deal with AA in whatever payment form is agreed.

I don't know, that resource which AMC have been touting about for a decade looks great, sure it will be a mine in 2050, lol:))

Now we can see why majors add big premiums to resources in places like Australia.

CMC it always makes a decision easier when it is from free cash flow. EBITDA at $20bn and cash increasing by $8bn suggests that they have been re-investing at around their rate of amortisation. In other words they are re-investing in their strategy, one objective of which is to increase their exposure to copper. The premium for political stability also grew a little today!

Throwing off so, so much cash. They can return it to shareholders through special dividends, increase the divi, buy back stock, spend it on existing projects or purchase assets:)

Purchasing a large long life copper mine, in a safe and politically stable country for $500m USD plus is nothing to them.

Same with MILA, if you want a small cap gold/silver explorer in Australia it is worth researching. One of the top risers today.

There must be an RNS on the way. In which case my 50k @ 6.25p could be a masterstroke! 🤣

I agree the fighting will get worse, TCofMC, but it's been going on at a low level for 8 years ever since Putin successfully annexed Crimea from Ukraine. Putin will have enough on his plate with quelling Ukraine; Poland and the Baltic States are not next inline.

What with under £20k invested in shares, Hanmudoman? No way matey. Only got 3 shares. XTR, GPM & PUR and intend to keep them. I believe gold (and silver) are going on a massive bull run. That's why I'm keen on Ascot containing lots of gold.
I just checked the XTR price on ii and you pay a premium to the 5.7p asking price to buy 25k.

PS I'm not in it to make money for myself, I don't need it. All the money will go to my grandchildren.

This has only just started, the fighting may get considerably worse. Further depressing stock markets and stocks, with rising commodity prices.

I see the Russian based miners are being Hammered today (Polymetal, Eurasia). Thank heavens XTR is based in Australia & Africa.
PS The XTR share price has held up rather well considering.
