Thanks, during periods of extreme volatility one needs to think outside of the box. Buying a South African phosphate company which has no share price action, few trades, little liquidity, etc, during a period of rapidly rising phosphate prices makes sense.

Back to XTR, just a period of treading water for us at the moment.

Yes, goforgold1, the 200 day EMA seems to provide support for the XTR share price That's 3 times it's done so in the last 3 months. Don't ask me why because I've no idea. I can only assume that some traders use it as a guide? Who knows and who cares? It happened and that's the important thing!

👍 You certainly know how to pick 'em, TCofMC. You're up 60% on ARG today. That follows your success with KRPZ. Congratulations.
I have bad memories of Falklands oilies having lost money on both DES (Desire) and WTE (Westmount) back in 1998. Luckily I only had small punts on both. I' m not a successful investor. I should have stuck with premium bonds! 🤣

I remember the Poseidon "bubble" well, TCofMC. It was over 50 years ago, in the late '60's. The Poseidon share price (Aussie listed) skyrocketed by thousands of percent on it's nickel discovery. When the nickel "bubble" burst so did the Poisedon share price
Gold (and silver) is shooting up today. My gut (and charts) are saying gold and silver will be the place to be. Let's hope XTR discover a big gold resource at Bushranger as well as copper. Also don't forget XTR's gold assets in Africa. I'm well stocked with GPM shares as well as XTR.

goforgold1 regarding your post 5724, do you really believe that the MM's know what's going on in every AIM tiddler, like XTR? There are literally 100's of AIM tiddlers. You're bonkers. The MM's are not manipulating the share price You're a conspiracy theorist.
Small investors piled into XTR before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. They are nervous and are most like cutting their losses, selling along with long term investors converting the shares they bought sub 2p from paper profits into hard cash.
PS I don't believe the XTR chart is bearish. Look at the chart I posted last night.

Opinions differ and you can remain pessimistic . I will remain optimistic as Colin`s a Yorkshireman. Not long to go though and a few more drilling positives will change perceptions.

Are these the same people who didn't predict any of this? And didn't also predict previous price increases? I question many of their opinions.

What will happen when the economies tank? The dollar will crash and people will run to real assets and many of the commodity prices will go much higher, as they have done during previous similar events during the last 200 years. Hence why I have a good portfolio of many of these precious metals stocks in preparation for this.

You arrogantly say that someone should think outside of the box, but then you also say that you believe what these 'experts' tell you. Lol.

Not sure about you, but I think most people are here to make money. Not hold stocks until infinity. If that means taking advantage of a change in sentiment and buying a stock where the commodity has increased significantly on the basis that the stock will increase in due course then I think that's smart. As some may have seen with KRPZ recently, as an example.

Look Duckie ! Long term commodities prices have been assessed by many who are better qualfied than you. Even given the supply imbalances they never forecast the sort of prices being mooted now. And if the present crisis doesn't unwind, what do you think is going to happen when the world economy tanks and with it the demand for these commodities ? Youn brain is still locked inside its box, obviously.

lurker5 - you need to think outside of the box, dear. What do you think is going to happen to some of these bombed out stocks, which were sitting at all time lows, when the prices are moving so strongly?

One only needs to revisit the Australian nickel boom of the 1970's to see what happened to the share prices of the explorers, even though they hadn't even found any nickel let alone found anything which needed to be developed into a mine which would take 5 years or so.

Actually, many of these high prices are going to be here to stay over the coming years because they aren't finding any significant nickel, copper, oil deposits and there has been a huge under investment in the explorers for a decade. Now we are seeing the results of that. If you don't understand this trend or disagree that's your opinion and you are entitled to it.

But, anyone who is in commodities is going to do well this decade, anyone who has the understanding that we just don't have enough of these real things which the world requires. Some positives recently, it seems that Europe has finally woken up to the fact that they need to start being more mining friendly and opening up these mines across Europe.

Some may take immediate gains from their shares and warrants but I`m here for the long term ...four months or more!!!

Their activity may affect the short term share price but doesn`t alter the total of beneficiaries when the assets are sold. At the moment this seems to be around the 930 million ( shares options and warrants) so if Colin sells for about £930 million we all get £1 a share for our patience and I`ll buy Colin a beer.

mms bringing this down for some reason just can not hold a gain . Peak commodities time and this has fell from 7p to 5p unbelievable. Mms dont believe the story . Here its not producing just pie in sky at moment as well. Very strange 4p but the warrants have killed this and the millions of 1.25p shares.

CHART LOOKS BAD NOW TOTAL DOWN TREND AS WELL

You don't really think these spikes will persist long enough to affect expectations for these companies five - plus years into the future - Do You ? If it produces spikes in the shares of concerned companies you can bet there'll be massive profits taking.
