24/2/2022 09:10 | I made a big mistake getting rid of my gas shares, SQZ & KIST. UK gas prices are currently up around 30% on the day! Doh. Also made a big mistake of topping up with 50k of XTR @ 6.25p. Much cheaper to buy today! Lousy timing! Doh. I'll never make a successful investor! 🤣 | papillon
24/2/2022 09:02 | At least my GPM is up this morning on the very strong gold price. | papillon
24/2/2022 08:55 | Let's hope hamidahamida doesn't get his 5p entry price! 🤣 🤣 | papillon
24/2/2022 08:52 | Punters are selling, Picardy, on the Russian/Ukraine bad news. I notice 2 European gas producers, SQZ & KIST, are up this morning. | papillon
24/2/2022 08:52 | looks like 5p is coming here | jeanesy
24/2/2022 08:51 | Couldn't get a quote from HL to buy £1,000 worth. Had to buy in 2 x £500 lots. | chris cat
24/2/2022 08:51 | I want to buy more especially at these prices but I promised myself that i would only add to my already large holding as the results of Ascot fulfilled the early shows and gave CB a stronger hand with AA. Self discipline is really tough when such opportunities arise. | arcadian
24/2/2022 08:46 | Snakes and landers mate | the count of monte_cristo
24/2/2022 08:28 | Yep, tin hats for the next few weeks. Excellent buying opportunities will be presented. | the count of monte_cristo
24/2/2022 08:20 | ZM AA will be encouraged by a weak share price, XTR will feel psychologically undermined and the assessor will worry less about their PI. It will not make a vast difference but in my view it will have an influence. Before Christmas CB orally commented on how accurate the team's visual calculation of copper content was. Just a guess but the model with 'visual assays' is probably ready (on the assumption that they have continued drilling since Christmas.) Another guess but the 10 day rule seems a bit ridiculous and if I were CB and wanted to get on with the process I would already have AA in situ. | the diddymen
24/2/2022 06:52 | Guess we can expect a very bad period for many stocks and shares following the Russian and Belorus invasion this morning. | denjon
24/2/2022 04:19 | Gold starting to take off. Let's have some nice long gold assay results from Ascot:) | the count of monte_cristo
24/2/2022 03:45 | If one wishes to see how any deal "might" look, it's best to look back at previous deals to see how they have been completed. Which we have discussed on here numerous times, but for the benefit of any new investors... "Kiwara shareholders will receive 0.0085 First Quantum shares and £0.375 for every Kiwara share held". Anglo American - Pay a good dividend and I would be happy to take a share/cash deal. | the count of monte_cristo
23/2/2022 22:30 | If and when they announce decision to mine and >2m resource the market will quickly react and the share price could already be multiples of current before AA even make a decision. It won’t be a case of making this announcement and then going to AA to negotiate a sale while the market cap is still at £50m. | johnswan193
23/2/2022 22:24 | Nasdaq is on a support line if it breaks the line tomorrow under 13,000 12,000 will come very quickly then we will have capitulation . Then hopefully go on a bull run . Really hope no war as a lot of women children are Gojng to die . War is not the way . Putin is really being stupid or he has mental health problems. Very dangerous man at moment | goforgold1
23/2/2022 22:18 | Share prices could be under pressure tomorrow as Russia gears up to unleash a full scale invasion of Ukraine. | papillon
23/2/2022 20:49 | TD agreed - it is more detailed and complicated than my summary admitted. It would be interesting to receive a bid from AA before any deal. What`s £50 million -- could save them a billion. | arcadian
23/2/2022 20:43 | Diddymen ...How can the value of Racecourse be higher the higher the share price share price at the time if a third party valuation? A 3rd party valuation is valuing what is in the ground and how much it will cost to dig it up and process it. How can that be affected by whether Manica, for example, is going great guns and has raised the XTR share price as a result? | zero matrix
23/2/2022 20:32 | Posted here previously on subject by thediddymen >>Firstly XTR should be funding Prospectore through the intercompany account. When Prospectore is sold the intercompany account should then be settled as part of the consideration and that will give XTR the funding to carry on exploration. & | guyshelby
23/2/2022 20:27 | Arcadian CB is right; the higher the market cap the greater the value of Racecourse post thrid party evaluation. Just a view but the greater the legal blue water between Racecourse and Ascot, the better XTR's position. The prospect of a white knight will help but will not materialise unless AA offer is unrealistically low. Re the return of cash via a dividend - the officers of the company should be shot if they take that high tax route. The capital should be returned in specie as a capital gain. | the diddymen
23/2/2022 19:50 | ZM There are two parts to your concerns. 1 Pre deal when it won`t matter too much what the share price is in the run up to any deal but to be fair CB in one of his interviews did express a desire for the market cap to be higher presumably he felt it would give him more credibility. 2 After the deal which if it produces assets which are out of line with the share price one assumes that the market will correct that anomaly via the share price because if it doesn`t someone will step in and buy a very cheap company. An offer to buy shares at 50p when the assets per share are £2 would I assume be rejected pending an offer that reflected the true values. The company itself has the option of buying back shares or awarding a special dividend to get rid of the surplus to requirements cash from the deal. Hope that helps. Others may improve on my reply or debate other issues arising. | arcadian
23/2/2022 19:07 | Looks like the de rampers are here in force now . Lol there be here till bed wetters sell to bring it down to 5p then buy back in simple de ramp then re ramp sell repeat | goforgold1 |
