I doubt it. Admission of 45000 shares is not very significant and it's normal for it to take place a few days after exercise of the options.

I wonder if its timed to co-inside with public launch of the Summer school?

jonbirdy: I think any official details (just a guess) are being held back until the government does its press release on the subject. I say that because it does seem a bit of a coincidence that neither have said anything much but both have said a tiny bit. It could all be a coincidence or it might be relevant. I really have no idea at all. Good luck!

Suddenly all a bit frothy - lots of trades worth £5k and under. I'll probably live to regret it but have closed an old trading account holding about a third of my holding. Happy to let the other two thirds run for the medium to long term.

Folks have had weeks to pick these up at 23p or so but it has been very quiet.
Now suddenly we have eager buyers at 26p, so something has changed - or a pending change has leaked.

Any hint of using AI increases WEYs bottom line dramatically. If some lessons are going to be via AI that will equate to less outgoings so greater profit.

Where does online education end and edtech begin? Maybe a rhetorical question but I guess the two overlap. As well as the forthcoming summer school announcement mentioned above, there was also this announced this week from another arm of Goverment, International Trade:

And the chairmans comments at the last Investor Evening about "tens of thousands.." then perhaps the summer school is the beginning of plans for expansion. They certainly deserve it, they seem to win every award that is going.

Anyway, next week should be interesting, one way or the other.
