07/5/2020 16:26 | hi netcurtains, still a big seller whether taking profits or not was my point, and why there was some weakness. Hope they have taken good profits and are now in for a new ride? Good weekend QS | ![]() qs99
07/5/2020 16:25 | I think we will see interim results next week and I suspect they will even exceed the upward revised numbers from February RNS. WEY generating real cash and is the sort of share that can balance a PF well particularly on the AIM casino! | ![]() adorling
07/5/2020 16:11 | QS99: in my opinion its not really a big seller, its just some people who bought cheaply who want to bank some of their profits before results. This is a very traditional bull/bear thing. Others want to get in and others want to bank. | netcurtains
07/5/2020 16:01 | well IMO you can see the two big sellers recently holding this back.....DYOR...let' | ![]() qs99
07/5/2020 10:36 | I know I'm good but not that good ffs....haha....off it goes | ![]() qs99
07/5/2020 10:32 | Maybe due for a bounce? Insti off loading again has put pressure on it IMO....nice to see some blue, maybe we can retrace towards 25p+? | ![]() qs99
07/5/2020 10:32 | Perhaps getting some assistance today from TIDE's good results... ...same chairman as WEY. | ![]() shanklin
07/5/2020 08:12 | Anyway you want to cut it, lots of children right round the world will not be going back to full time bricks & mortar education for quite some time. Some private schools in the UK depend on about 20% of their pupils coming from SE Asia. I dont think many will be coming this year. This is the time for on-line Education. WEY already have been helping in Wuhan. WEY will probably be getting pupils from mainland Europe too (especially ex-pat community in Spain and France). | netcurtains
06/5/2020 13:59 | Taken some more however cheaper now after lunch | ![]() markdallara
06/5/2020 13:58 | As they say, you don't know what you don't know, and this Board don't appear to want to say anything. Can't see this one getting back to its former dizzy heights any time soon. | seabornlegend
06/5/2020 10:46 | Quite an interesting tussle between BULLS and BEARS. I guess BEARS assume results are good-ISH but what happens next? I guess BULLS assume results are VERY good and WEY will tell us what will happen next. LOL.... Alas no one knows until they tell us!! | netcurtains
06/5/2020 09:46 | Well a topup for me at this lower price before news,gla | ![]() abergele
05/5/2020 20:20 | Dominic raab has said today - not all schools will re-open based on current SAGE advice. Looking at options. Suggests further support for wey services, particularly inter high. There must also be many children with health conditions eg asthma, diabetes who could land at academy21... | bdh1
05/5/2020 19:14 | For the Mgt - any signs on if the lockdown / more remote learning will grow their addressable market ? | ![]() rjmahan
05/5/2020 15:11 | Startup valued at $800 million dollars: Or bloomberg article (InterHIgh does actually have access to some elite athletes and actors): $800 Million | netcurtains
05/5/2020 09:53 | ComputaCenter slowly rising on back of on-line learning: | netcurtains
04/5/2020 10:50 | Hi net - on the question of scalability I'm thinking about the capabilities of the pure IT infrastructure (i.e. can WEY simply keep adding new servers to meet the demands of extra teachers / pupils or is there a point at which their platform needs to be remodelled due to limitations imposed by the programs they're using or have developed for themselves in-house). My second point was aimed at the much wider adult education / retraining market. With a likely massive increase in the growth of process automation and AI decision making (e.g. call centre chatbots) large numbers of adults will need to be retrained. That's obviously a huge market. | ![]() zulu_principle
04/5/2020 10:15 | mfhmfh: The results are provisionally mon/tue next week and thus brokers are doing investor evening day or so after. Its not in stone yet (but probably is - if you know what I mean). | netcurtains
04/5/2020 09:54 | net - two questions for you: 1. How scalable is their IT infrastructure (ignoring human resource requirements) - x10 current, x100, infinite??? 2. What plans do they have for adult education / reskilling (apart from teacher training)? | ![]() zulu_principle
04/5/2020 09:34 | when are the result? I cannot see a financial calendar on WEY's website. | ![]() mfhmfh
04/5/2020 08:41 | The brokers/wey are organising investors virtual meeting next week (day or so after results ). They are looking for questions - just wondered if any Wey posters who cannot go have some interesting questions or points they would like to put forward. I'm sure relevant people do read these boards from time to time so perhaps put your thoughts here.. | netcurtains
01/5/2020 14:02 | whoops. sorry | netcurtains |
