25/9/2017 08:50 | A few on my filter list I would argue don't qualify as smart. Some got in at a reasonable price and are wisely taking profits before the forecast large market correction. There is a limit to the number of gullible buyers to take up the slack, those who buy at this level will be disappointed in my opinion. | melton john
25/9/2017 08:22 | As the price goes higher.............. Oh but the FTTP of it all! :) | kemche
25/9/2017 08:18 | MJ the smart money is already in. | nimbo1
25/9/2017 08:14 | So your investing strategy is "find a greater fool" nimbo. Hoping for a nasdaq listing reminds me of the dot.com days when people lost their shirts on betting that shares keep going up. They don't, people are selling Wand to mug punters who don't know anything and it will end in tears. Always does. The smart money will buy back at £4. | melton john
24/9/2017 11:25 | Very sound points about the US nimbo. No point in conversing with some one that just wants to bring the price down for their own benefit. It will do what it will do. | hazl
24/9/2017 10:22 | Melton John I think your post could be equally used on about 1000 message boards regarding overvaluation at the moment! Thats why wand is moving it's listing to the US all being well (they couldn't give a flying monkeys about value investing when it comes to growth / global tech investing). If a company has developed a global sales platform, has pretty much fixed running costs and seems to be in a market facing exponential demand...then it deserves to be highly rated and will continue to be. My money is where my mouth is - I've bet a lot on the fact it is going no where near your £4 target. IMO and all that, because I don't know the future...can only pontificate. | nimbo1
23/9/2017 18:53 | Ha Rocket Fool, you've drastically lowered the average IQ here by your presence. Some decent posters on here who I don't agree with, good technology, too expensive imho. Another fool to the filtered list with your ramping. | melton john
23/9/2017 13:06 | thanks for the reminder re below: - WANdisco (LSE: WAND), the world leader in Active Data Replication™, will be hosting a Capital Markets Day in London for analysts and institutional investors on Tuesday 17 October 2017. The purpose of the event is to provide further insight into the Company's growth strategy. Supporting WANdisco during the event will be a spokesperson from IBM, a key sales channel partner for the Company. The event will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday 17 October 2017 at Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard (31 St Thomas Street, London SE1 9QU). | nimrod22
23/9/2017 12:21 | I wouldn't sell before the trading update and the capital markets day second week in October. I think big mo at will start to move here and we'll be double digits by year end. Profit is profit so fair play if you take some out. I see a lot more upside and back to £15 H1. We've been there before albeit with fewer shares in issue. | tickboo
23/9/2017 11:50 | this gorgeous little buba is now a growth stock again and ready to test 10 quid within weeks.. en route to 30 pound a pop within the next 18 months, be it organic or takeout target. holding tight to my heavyweight 420p holding.. plenty of fireworks ahead! sound fundamentals.. sound management.. (and most important of all) sound market sentiment! | rocket fuel
23/9/2017 10:38 | Put too much money in to WAND some 4 years and stupidly watched it fall in share price until it wasn't worth selling. Lucky to say that I've made it all back and some more after buying additional six months ago. It really does look as if WAND has landed on it feet this time with big player contracts. I was reading a couple of months ago that their technology was ahead of its time when it first appeared. Difficult to say where the upward trend would end. Some of the graphs such as RSI and momentum still show space for further rise without being too overbought. Its been quite a ride. Difficult to decide whether to hang in for greater profits, take over rise,....though I'll probably top slice in another week or so. What other companies (if any) offer the same technology? | nimrod22
22/9/2017 20:44 | Wand surely a takeover target soon. | tickboo
22/9/2017 20:01 | not bad at all - presenting alongside Microsoft at the Strata Conference | nimbo1
21/9/2017 16:53 | Nice 12,500 buys over the ask. Sets up tomorrow nicely. | tickboo
21/9/2017 15:27 | wan disco posted this on twitter hxxp://www.huffingto | nimbo1
21/9/2017 14:29 | *of the note. | tickboo
21/9/2017 14:23 | agree with that knighttokingprawn. thanks for the heads up on the note. | nimbo1
21/9/2017 14:22 | Good point, Knight. Can you send the link to the report? Thanks | tickboo
21/9/2017 14:19 | Guys I am a little surprised that you should chase away bears on the stock. Smart bulls should surround themselves with people that test their view not chase them away. Great note out today from Stifel, which probably explains follow through. Be nice .. you may learn a thing or two .. it's a lesson for life ... | knighttokingprawn
21/9/2017 13:27 | A decent trading update should see this push through the yearly high. Given Edison estimated 17m FY and we achieved 10m H1 we should exceed that and with the R&D rebate we should be EBITDA positive H2 and close to break even, any new wins go straight to the bottom line. nimbo, Alibaba are growing in cloud massively and will be a big player in the future so securing a deal would be great, others too. | tickboo
21/9/2017 13:11 | it would be good - from memory they only have c.4% of the cloud market, but out of all of them are growing the fastest. | nimbo1
21/9/2017 12:43 | Agreed, the potential is enormous and no-one is able to copy this. The partners are lining up, be great to have an OEM with Alibaba, hopefully to follow. | tickboo
21/9/2017 12:29 | ummm well at £30 it would be a £1.13 billion market cap. I reckon thats possible within a few years. | nimbo1
21/9/2017 12:08 | What happened to that old has-been old age pensioner Melton 'Mowbray' John? lol, what a buffoon he was, lying low somewhere rural in an old telephone box I heard, waiting for 400p. What a useless FTTP chunt he turned out to be. In here at 420 and not going to top slice until this baby hits £30. This is a multi billion pound company in the making. | rocket fuel
21/9/2017 10:55 | quite a lot of stock available - i can get a quote to buy 7500 at 797 | nimbo1 |
