Wandisco Fusion does require high speed date connection, that is how the data is transferred.

However, the customer base they are selling into would obviously have this, if not fibre linked then pretty good reliable speeds for the model to operate.

Financial institutions, Tier one manufacturers, healthcare etc, obviously do.

Wandisco are embedded with 5000 IBM sales force who will know what download operating speeds are required for the system to function.

IMO, Wandisco have a superb product without significant (if any) competition in this field - cloud based real time data back up. It is a high growth market and WAND have secured Blue Chip partnerships for route to sales, it's looking like a superb business model.

The share price looks to be 'high' from an M.cap to sales perspective, but in essence, I can see WAND being a billion dollar company and more easily.

All IMO.

There you go tickboo, read the last line and tell me I'm wrong.

"VALIDATE THAT AVAILABLE BANDWIDTH ARE SUFFICIENT FOR RATE OF CHANGE IN SELECTED DATA"

Tell your "techie" to go to Specsavers.

For the benefit of anyone who doesn't understand the significance, as mentioned several times, to replicate a lot of data to the cloud or other cluster members, a high speed network connection is required.

Am leaving for a midday meeting but before I do check out the case studies on wandisco's website, some impressive stuff. Great a senior bod at IBM will be talking at the capital markets day as well, seems WAND has something unique.

Also check out their strategic partners - IBM, Amazon, Google, Cisco, HP, Microsoft and Oracle. I assume Alibaba will be one soon.

Good luck with someone selling their shares at or around £4 Melton. My bet is come this time next month we'll be nearer £10 than £8.

Did you hear the story about Groucho Marx? He asks a pretty young actress, "Would you sleep with me for a thousand dollars". She said " I guess I would". He says how about a hundred. She replies "Do think I'm a prostitute", to which he said " I think we've established that, we're just negotiating the price."
So we agree in principle, just a matter of price.

I see nimbo has been spending his money on boo. Could be a smart move.

I was going to buy at £1 but wanted to make sure the company would not need to dilute for working capital but with near break even, cash in the bank and a loan facility that is not the case so I started investing. I imagine they'll exceed expectations given they get an R&D rebate H2, so little or no cash burn, more partners, complimentary products (back up etc) should see this move northwards again. Melton, we can move on and agree to disagree.

Unemployment is a national problem...but there are still some jobs available...even if you think you're over qualified.

"I've lost all my punt money over the years"

I, for one, am shocked to my very core at such an unexpected revelation! Not in a million years would I have thought such a thing.

You bought at the time I was thinking "£4, christ that's expensive for a company doing about 10million in sales. I've lost all my punt money over the years so since doing research to fill in gaps in my knowledge I've made money and intend to keep doing so. Good luck with your punt.

If I sell now I'd have made a handsome profit as I've accumulated from 3.95 to 7 although most were earlier so my average is 4.80 or so. I believe there's a lot more to come from wand and we'll see what the next trading statement brings. It's great to see the partners increasing and genuine major players who don't partner firms lightly. Each to their own.

Childish petulance at its finest.

"It's my football and I am taking it home!"

"Mum! No one wants to play with me!"

If you don't want to sell it to me then I will sit in the corner and cry really loudly. Then you will see.

AND I have checked out this computermebob thingy as well!

I'm investing to make money, isn't that why you're here. I've done some digging to find out about cloud computing and where Wand fit in. To me it's worth a lot less than £4. You don't want to sell yours for that price, fine, I'll see if anybody else will. It's an auction "numptie", no good to me if there's no upside and a big risk of a fall.

To spend so much time on a BB you're not invested tells me you either have an agenda or you're a saddo. 50/50 to be fair.

What we have here is confirmation bias. You ignore what doesn't match your view. Read back to yesterday where I pointed nimbo to an article he'd posted. An implementation guide written by WAND not me, you fool.

It's funny that these techies disagree with you and you see value at £4 and would buy in then so seem to be talking it down. They makes more sense than you wasting so much time on here for the good of fellow man. Also look at the case studies and testimonials, all looks good to me and infrastructure isn't an issue.
