tara - I would get an announcement, but you must inform the company and they must inform the market. Unfortunately the mail address (corporate@firstartist.com) is broken and returns the mail back to you. It is these small things that REALLY irritate me - the company has a company secretary, it has a fd, and they can't even ensure there investor mail address works.

Rubbish!

The 100k was a sell, which has allowed more liquidity in the share. In my opinion the liquidity wont last.

I agree greengiant and would probably be near enough the current mkt cap.

Re' the World Cup and Olympics I was tinking more along the lines of sponsorships and advertising rather than theatre increases.

langland, CMS is a bargain. I thought about buying at 17p,then left it because it didn't seem to want to stop falling. I think now is a good entry level butwill have to go through the numbers first.

Soulsource - I was lucky to meet Alistair Spalding who is the MD of Sadlers Wells and we discussed the impact of the Olympics on Theatres in and around London. It is his belief that the Olympics will increase theatre attendances by in excess of 30%. However, he deemed that what was vital was the promotion, through advertising, of the smaller theatres. We also discussed theatre attendances, which have not dropped, but the number of new shows did drop (even at SW's).

I believe that you are right with regard to the world cup, there should be a large amount of interest for players in the summer transfer window - however, I do believe that we will not benefit from that, it is my belief this part of the business will be sold by then.

Tara likes debt, gearing = huge profits. Fan need just to pay off a small lump of exp debt [way above base rate].

I feel with the World Cup this year and the Olympics only two years away the time could be right for FAN but the company still need to get the debt down by whatever means and the share price should be +50p in no time.

Chartwise, looking poised to break higher IMO. Nice basing pattern at the lows. Resistance here at 23 tho' the more important level is last year's high at 32ish. Once that goes, we are looking at the 52-60 band so Tara's 60 not looking too fanciful. However, no stock to buy. Might be a big mark up to attract stock?
Happy NY, GG

Have you looked at CMS as potential recovery?..getting intersting methinks but need your slide rule over the accounts. JT Cod did a write in Nov I believe..
Others, please excuse off topic.

I would also expect us to have trading update end of Jan/early Feb, IMO highly undervalued.
