Has anyone bothered to write to the stupid CEO or Investor Relations?
Dividend cut scaring off investors? Would still yield 6-7% at this share price
FT betaville have gone down in my estimation, spouting BS about a takeover!

Did any of you read the item in this week's issue of The Economist? (p18, "Slimming cure - Vodaphone was once worth more than Apple. What happened?)It synopsizes what we here (most of us, anyway) already know but it is still sad, sobering reading.

So from nearly 72p on Tuesday to current price of just under 66p now, VOD have lost approx 8%/9% of their market cap in three days.Just been a constant drop since about 1300 on Tueaday. The chart looks terrible, all that upside from the 26th Feb just erased...When is the next update? I only have 14th of May as final results.

What a drag. Pile of debt and still not rebasing divi or selling Italian assets. Everything Voda does takes lifetime.

If I was being mischievous I'd say the takeover rumours were planted by the CEO and her cronies to try and shore up the share price ..the super high volumes don't quite fit though...WTF is she doing with Italy? Three merger was always going to attract close attention, ao why waste so much time and money? I maintain there are overseas hedge funds manipulating the share price here, as Tiger Global did with Tesco in 2015, remained hidden for a while before being outed.

Where does it say that? Vodafone India has been written down to zero, so why would they 'chip in'?
Any reports of Vodafone Idea and capital raise are 2 weeks old!

All these joint ventures or partnerships VOD is involved...think always the other party is the beneficiary...

Vodafone India are going to raise $5.4 billion. Vodafone India are a separate company from Vodafone main, but Vodafone Main is going to chip on. Personally I think Vodafone should have thrown the tail in when Relance Joi was giving away free service. It just about destroyed Vodafone India.

The Q3 trading statement was quite good, even including hyper inflationary Turkey.
Since they seem to have struck a good cash raising deal in Italy.

Based upon known facts there is no explaination to the dire performance of this share.

Price is probably down today due to equity raise in India where it looks like Vodafone and Birla are going to participate, how much is not known until early April. https://www.lightreading.com/finance/india-s-vodafone-idea-to-raise-5-4b-through-debt-and-equity

I should have sold VOD and bought Bitcoin.

Forget the big dividends from VOD.
No chance of ever having a dividend from Bitcoin, intrinsically worthless we all agree.
But look at the price...my investing style is out of date.
It was predictable that one day we would be trading in nothing.
