My opinion of her has done a 180. I'm really impressed with this new strategy. The move to restructure the company in to 5 divisions is also a positive. This is a really good day for Vodafone. I am sure much of this leaked on Wednesday and forced them to issue this unannounced on a Friday morning (usually a slow day for RNSs)

A step in the right direction, probably the first Stellar Fail has made since taking office.

But a bit early to get excited, the share price is only back to where it was two days ago and down on a week when the markets are well ahead.

And we're still 24% down from when she took on the CEO role.

Still a huge mountain to climb.

Vodafone and Swisscom have confirmed that the Swiss telecom group will take over Vodafone Italy for €8bn, enabling the UK company to return €4bn to shareholders.

At last it seems as though we have some serious management.
It has been a long wait.

I like the move to tie up with Microsoft.
Interesting to see this company develop over the next few years.
Shareholders have had a terrible time.

Today feels like a turning point.

Buybacks are obviously a GREAT idea if the company gets the shares significantly below their market value (on sale of company) and when dividends are relatively high (it saves them money).....

CFO has early his crust there. Not a fan of buybacks either but they like this giveaways when they keep their debt ratios within targets
