'MADE money' can be as little as £1.00 but if you were £10k up at one point you can be as embittered perhaps even more so than someone who lost £500. That's the fun that you're having, its one of revenge for lost profits.

Those who were once invested here continue to post because of what is termed as 'closure'.

In the US when someone is murdered the family of the murdered victim do not have closure until the murderer is executed. So long as the murderer is alive he/she is the last person to have seen their loved one alive.

So long as Versarien is trading as a listed company there is no closure for those who have lost money and those who's profits have been dented by a prolonged investment.

Only when Versarien is delisted from the London Stock Exchange can previous investors or disgruntled interested parties claim closure.

What I have just explained is not a new phenomena. It is one of but not the only reason why retail investors continue to post on a thread long after sometimes years after they have sold out. THE COMPANY MUST DIE.

neilll77 - they post incessantly because they currently have open short positions on vrs and don't have the courage of their convictions to just see how it pans out. Either that, or they're just rather sad individuals.

Without all of them posting incessantly (and the occasional patient rebuttal) this would actually be a quiet thread.

Just quietly think of the eventual schadenfreude.

Neilll, a weird set of assumptions you have there, that anyone not invested but posting to point out the truth and warn others against a share which has a history of decline and shareholder value destruction and dilution, has:1. No money, &2. Enjoys seeing others lose.You are wrong in both counts about myself.I hope those assumptions are not fuelling and supporting your belief in VRS. The truth may hurt you but is often the simplest solution.

The situation is clearly not great and they need some turn around but nothing is due until August

IUK has continued to monitor the progress of the G-SCALE project during the drawdown and development stage, which has been completed despite the macro-economic challenges the Company has faced. In recognition of the potential benefits of Versarien's graphene technology, IUK offered to vary the terms of the Loan by deferring commencement of the capital repayments by one year, to be paid in ten equal quarterly repayments, commencing in August 2025. A deed of variation to the Loan has been signed by the Company accepting the offer. Interest will continue to be charged at a rate of 7.4% per annum, of which, 50% of the payments will be deferred until February 2025. The deferred interest will be paid in equal instalments when the capital repayments commence.

So how much will the interest payments "deferred until February 2025", a mere 6 weeks away, be?

Neilll77, no it does not look good at all. The company now appears to be reliant on grants and is getting further in the territory of only doing R&D, probably because that is all the management at VRS and GNanomat know about. Anyone who has been involved in U.K. or EU grants knows what a circus it is, the money would be better off spent on education and healthcare rather than propping up pretend businesses.
