12/12/2024 09:55 | I listened to this today on BBC World service, Business daily by James Graham - Very good. Think this is it on the web; Graphene Square Bio Sensors mentioned. | laginaneil

12/12/2024 08:49 | My guess is Innovate will re-schedule the "loan" and it will never be paid off. That effective default should shut the door to further loans from that source though. I see Fireball is getting personal, interesting to see someone that has only ever posted supportive comments, despite the 99% drop in share price! getting personal with a poster. Maybe the next placing is closer than we think? That was what last night's 'presentation' was all about, enthusing the few remaining bulls to dig deep into their savings once again to continue to finance the salaries of those that work for the company. I wonder if Fireball is one of those? | the cronk
12/12/2024 08:21 | If there cash burn is now £128k per month, then how many people are employed by VRS now? It cannot be many. | zydecoco
11/12/2024 18:23 | The £5M Innovate loan will never be repaid. | bbmsionlypostafter mk2
11/12/2024 16:51 | Don't they need something like £200k per month from August 2025 just to cover the loan repayments? | smokeyjohnson
11/12/2024 16:01 | zydecoco - PW “What is of paramount importance in this case is the direction of the share price after the presentation.” Yes, I had said that, but I am not convinced the trend is downwards (yet). This is just post-presentation sells by those who were disappointed there were no fireworks. I was reasonably happy with the update for the following reasons. 1.The CFO confirmed they were still on target to be EBITDA positive in H2 2025 2.The CFO confirmed Innovate Loan payments are not due to start until August 2025. This was already stated in RNS 05/12/2022 anyway. The interest that was due from February 2025 will start with the capital payments in August 2025. 3.The company is making progress on all fronts in its graphene and 3DCP technologies. It is just waiting for industry to bite. 4.Versarien are up there and participating in all the latest regulations and standards in UK, Europe and other parts of the world. This is primarily due to the expertise and reputation of the CEO. 5.With regards as to how they are going to fund themselves in the future I will need to get back to you on that after I re-watch the presentation. The CFO said that he could not reveal one or two things that I can’t remember. | pwhite73
11/12/2024 15:24 | PW "What is of paramount importance in this case is the direction of the share price after the presentation."Looks like it's a continued dive then. | zydecoco
11/12/2024 13:50 | If the reports of the presentation are true then VRS did not commit to time based targets for Sales and Revenue, including for the short term.So they are still in the position that the board has not delivered and people do not believe it can, and they are not making themselves accountable to the hard numbers that matter. The share price will only continue its decline and dilution will continue too. | zydecoco

11/12/2024 10:27 | senden11 - "There was much more but this is all I noted. Happy to be corrected on any points" Thank you for your excellent summary. What I would add is this. In the Q & A section at the end the CEO bemoaned the fact that regulations and standards are still being formulated. There was no overall agreement in place yet either nationally or internationally. In my opinion this is essentially the problem for graphene companies. Its a chicken and egg situation. Graphene companies can't really enter into any major project contracts because there are no agreed standards and there can't be any agreed standards until major projects are up and running to know what's safe and what isn't, what works and what doesn't. Other than that the company came across as honest and reasonably confident that things are moving in the right direction. | pwhite73

11/12/2024 09:29 | Whatever deal Versarien get for Total Carbide, I hope it is a clear-cut cash sale that takes the payroll with it, rather than the pathetic shilling-in-the-mete | grabster

11/12/2024 08:36 | #153973 senden11, thank you very much for that. Nice to read an informative post on here for a change, amongst all the constant 'please don't buy!' dross. Your time in making notes (despite family distractions in background!) is appreciated. | bluemango

11/12/2024 07:25 | Concretene and Cementene are pretty much the same thing. Cementene you would add at source with the cement manufacturer. Concretene you would add on site with the cement ballast/sand and water. | john henry |
