So only one post on VRS by Doc today. None from bigGib, fantastic stocks and Goodshare. The ramp is over and the placees have unloaded in 4 or so days. Job done. Mental note for next time.

bbs - they could correct this while they're at it: 'He has demonstrated success in introducing and commercialising new technology, including new materials and coatings for diverse sectors from aerospace to Formula One, including significant work in the oil and gas sector.'

squire - and it raised how much? Just about enough to refill the stationery cabinet.

bones - they can't raise serious money until they've shown willing to reorganise the company root and branch. Inks is about all I can see that's so far shown signs of a possible return, everything else - 3D printing, Korea, gnanomat, cheap plastics, non-nano materials in Total Carbide, etc - should go and the business resized to meet realistic expectations. If they had a decent proven manager in charge doing that, then they just might be able to raise enough money to see them through to viability.

Personally I think the rot's gone too far, and it will be an undeserved miracle if they survive.

Why is Ricketts still shown on the VRS site as CEO?

Neill Ricketts
Chief Executive Officer

Neill is a graduate engineer with over 20 years of senior level experience in manufacturing and engineering companies. He has demonstrated success in introducing and commercialising new technology, including new materials and coatings for diverse sectors from aerospace to Formula One, including significant work in the oil and gas sector.

More recently, Neill was appointed to the advisory board of the United States National Graphene Association (NGA) in February 2018.

While the hopeful are making theories, the guys at Versa-RIEN are thinking how on earth would they get their next salaries. Meanwhile let's dream about 3D, cementene and hoplesstene to solidify our brain - all this while ricketts is playing golf and sending texts.

Totally agree with the numbers there ,they will be very lucky to riase 2m at 2p imo given nobody seems to want to touch it . The last 2 raises have been a struggle and a at a decent discount . Given the precarious position of vrs they will do well to raise that much imo and it's simply not enough to turn this around . Even with the the reduced burn which we have no idea how much that is they are likely to need circa 8m to make a real go of it imo .anything less will just means they keep coming back for more quickly at lower prices .

The problem is can they make it into a viable business now ricketts is almost out the door and how quickly can that be done .

Then there is the 5m loan needs repaying .

Either way until the funding is announced this is a sell no matter how you want to look at it as it will go to that price when it is announced and that will need to be pretty soon .

The agm number 5 clause is for 30 percent or so of the share issue to raise funds. This says it all. They expect to issue 75m shares min. At 2p will only get them 1.5m so will need more soon. I'll close my short then.

Surely having the allotment agreement in place to allow them to raise is the first bridge to cross.

Let's assume people are still blind and they could raise £2M. And then what ? They will just come back to raise more and more to afford paying their salaries from zombies pockets. Do you really think this is a business model that can make money ?

If they want to raise £2m then that's a cool 100m new shares @ let's say 2p. ~50% of the current shares in circulation. Will they even get that sort of allotment agreement through at the AGM? 25% of the shares in circulation is normally max or is that main market only?

That's if they do need to raise more before any commercial/significant news

This should be the subject of a winding up order I believe. In no way can it be deemed a going concern. Ricketts was the company, such as it was, and it was very apparent to most folk that there was no substance to it since 2018
