Because it was a stupid bet. Firstly the bet had a timeline of 3 mths. Anyone working in engineering knows that things can slip. If the bet was fur any significant deal in 2020 that would be fairer. But secondly cardinal rule of gambling is never bet what you can't afford to lose. So if I had 10k spare why waste it on log stupid bet where i can only win 10k tops( assuming he is honest) on a bigt deal when I can buy 13000 vrs shares with a massive plus side.

I think MM games is a mythical phrase. As is it's difficult to buy = shortage of stock.Medium term ? supply and demand. The judgement here is when will financial progress be visible. That includes news from which it follows logically that revenue will accrue.

My comment was based on the fact at the time I posted the mms will still take large amounts of shares which you have previously and still do highlight as being a good thing. Please stop gloating it’s not nice.

Can’t really be bothered with loglorry but to be fair he has put his money where his mouth is. Superg1 has been shouting from the rooftops about this share for years. If he is that confident why has he not took him up on his bet.??? Makes him look stupid in my book. I’m long and strong here but i don,t see how people would buy in just now as if they look at the share price in the last 18 months its only went one way.

If you are worried about no communication as each day passes shorts will get more and more worried, doesn't bother me at all to be honest and very chilled with what is to come 👍

Alternatively maybe they are not..... but they should be 😋

Has anyone noticed how all volume has drifted out of VRS trading in recent months? Previously, meaningless collaboration RNSs and tweets/podcasts were used to generate interest. Often, it appeared as though some people would be given information that an RNS was on the way, and then there would be a "sell the news" event on the day it arrived.

I believe there are some bulls on this board, close to management, who had traded in advance of RNSs - the share price action always suggested so.

We are in a rather different market now, as a result of the insane decision by Neill to take part in a private DISCORD group, which itself seems like an act of desperation. Liquidity has completely disappeared from the shares and those that want to get out now can't get out.

At the last placing at 145p, Neill was offered a lot of money by bucket shops and flippers who had no interest in VRS but knew they could sell enough shares profitably to mug retail if the discount was big enough.

Those same bucket shops and flippers aren't going to be keen to offer money this time with the total lack of liquidity in VRS shares.

it's a busted flush.

Someone has been buying in 70 range in chunks of mostly 50K and some 25K. Make up your own mind. It is worth spending time on L2 and see the behaviour. If you want to sell your choice but don't have an emotional decision. Take your time and think when market is closed. Never decide during the time market is open. You're prone to wrong decision making.

Sporting goods RNS is huge.

You won't get any warning either - VRS has never been leaky.

Company is in good health Roger, the two DIT staff have been a great assistance and I am sure that we will hear more about their input in due course. Share price a tad disappointing today, no funds down the back of the sofa, will have to as the wife nicely if she has any.

23. Continued support of DIT

DIT agreed that given Matt's contribution to Versarien's overseas investment ambitions, in particular in China and South Korea, existing collaborations and overall furtherment of Versarien's international business it is appropriate that his secondment is extended.

One would presume that DIT feel continuing support would be mutually beneficial to both Versarien and the Country.

Furthermore, UKGov felt it was so important that they provided an additional secondment. This is Yi Luo who joined Versarien from the UK Government's Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Yi is focussed on progressing the Company's international expansion, particularly in China, working alongside Matt.

Do not underestimate this unprecedented move by the government.

"We are punching well above our weight in terms of the level support we are getting from UK Gov. The reason for that is quite clear because the UKGOve has invested heavily into the Manchester and Cambridge and now want to see a return and they are looking to us as a way of providing that really important return to tax payers" Neill on Podcast with TMS on 31st Dec 19.

Not priced in!
