What I do find frustrating is that I want to know everything VRS related , as much as NR in fact. Obviously we know what we know from the RNS's and presentations but that is never enough for me, a thirst for knowledge on what is progressing in the world outside this bb not related to the share price because that will look after itself.

A big push on battery development and giga factories which has reignited my interest in that area, hopefully there will be an insight from Tesla early next week but as usual it will raise many more questions lol.

Must find out how the polygrene self heals too as I know certain coatings do.

Grit in the oyster, result pearl. An echo chamber is ultimately self-defeating, also tedious. However, the pendulum has swung too far the detractors' way, in that they have made everyone defensive in the extreme and most posts now mention them. Including, ahem, this one. This is a forum, not an executive branch of government. In the end, it does not matter. Let things slide, take a deep breath, use the filter button judiciously, according to your own self-knowledge of your propensity to be wound up; have a cuppa or turn the bloody thing off. Then, we may get back to some semblance of normality.

What I find particularly interesting is that the UKgov have had little input in graphene at the moment (VRS pays the secondees)considering the investment they have made in Manchester and GEIC and they will be getting a lot of feedback into the DIT, Universities Dept. etc; and are making a lot of noise about kickstarting industry .

Aecom also works closely with the Government with infrastructure projects and the signalling problem is to the forefront at the moment, there is a fix which we all know about so hopefully that is on the agenda.

The Huawei thing has been sorted ,not everyone is totally happy about it but it is a compromise and keeps China and probably the US sweetish, it's a balancing act it shouldn't have impacted VRS in any way but somehow it has all become interlinked, anyway that is another bearish argument put to bed .

The Government say very little about graphene but they have acknowledged the contribution that it can make in many ways but they have been very low key about it. I am hopeful that the cabinet meeting in the North will include graphene but not long to wait on that one (Friday)and little bit of investment in companies like VRS wouldn't go amiss and would be welcome to assist with progression and ultimately industrial applications which will filter down to the economy and jobs. Pie in the sky maybe but will see what Friday brings as they are in delivery mode.

Unfortunately mandatory most of the time people only come on here to criticize what a mess the board is in and other peoples posts, yet expect to have a continuous supply of quality material to feast on.

Mike, which is his right, has come on here to criticize the effort of someone else and those efforts are appreciated (by most) as timely reminders of why people are invested in VRS and you and others just pop in just to rip apart what is posted and the poster rather than sharing anything that you have put the time in to find .

There are plenty of critics on here but very few contributors in comparison, obviously those who own shares are going to be bulls and those who are short are going to be bears.

I must admit I avoided twitter for a long time and was initially shocked at what people say on there and get away with to some extent, this is mild in comparison but advfn have no wish to moderate it in any way so it will become emotive as they like the clicks.

Personally I don't care either way what people think and would happily leave this forum for other media possibilities but I do find it interesting , humourous and mildly annoying at times, but once the sun starts to shine you won't find me on here it can be very boring too.

My main interest is what 2D materials can do for the world , why the government is backing VRS in particular and is that because of the GEIC link and of late Gnanomat and battery development. Why do you come to this bb, what are you interested in and do you have any insights to share as all are welcome?

At the rate (ITX) is going, long term, it could catch up with VRS! Make money elsewhere, whilst these are forever treading water, until some significant game changing news. Also PPS another solid play, dyor as usual

Still waiting to buy these above 130p resistance.

Picking up upon the recent detractors negative posts, it is an undeniable fact that there are thousands of manufacturers globally of black powders of varying ratios of multi and few layer Graphene like materials of varying aspect ratio, surface area and level of structural integrity.

It is equally an undeniable fact that even the poorest multi layer defect ridden examples may still be able to enhance to a limited degree some aspect of the performance characteristics of materials for a limited number of applications.

In recent years literally THOUSANDS of patents have been secured across the globe by minnows to giants such as Samsung for materials, processes and functionalities that display some degree of improvement as a consequence of the introduction of some form of Graphene like material.

It is reasonable to accept that there will be a market for the marginally enhanced products using inexpensive mass produced lower grades of Graphene like materials.

The absurdity of much of the denigrators argument is predicated on the assumption that the cheap mass produced end of the market negates the high end where Versarien remain the worlds only high quality producer at commercial scale appropriate to the needs of the largest segment of the market where significantly enhanced product performance is mission critical.

It does not matter which sector you operate within from the many O&G sectors, Textiles, Construction, electronics communications, energy distribution, energy generation and storage, aeronautics, transport or medical and a thousand other applications, if by incorporating high quality Nanene your product offering vastly out performs your competitors or delivers UNIQUE new applications that would never have been technically possible then you will succeed in the Darwinian ‘survival of the fittest’, tooth and claw business environment while your competitors who failed to evolve will simply wither and die.

Versarien hold the monopoly position still as the worlds only producer at commercial scale of high quality real Graphene, this effectively GUARANTEES our commercial success when the entire world is on the brink of moving from short lived, inefficient, polluting legacy technologies to the long lived, highly efficient, environmentally clean, future technologies that will require vast quantities of Versarien Product.

The corporate plan recognises this and is able through global collaboration to deliver on the demand.
The growth potential is simply unprecedented.

The detractors are just a hand full of very vocal but insignificant individuals who have bet against the inevitability of progress.

They have no authority, no moral integrity and no capacity to influence the unstoppable GLOBAL tide of progress that is driven by the necessity for change.

Seriously, Why bother even acknowledging that they exist?

Mike brenner is one of my most respected contributors on VRS, period.

This board is becoming ridiculously polarised to the point where ultra ultra bears and ultra ultra bulls are just busy shouting at each other and a rational middle ground is no longer tolerated.

Mike personifies that rational middle ground.

Why is everyone so offended by Mike's comments?

I know the trolls have been out in force recently, but let's not lose sight of the reality of investing in shares. I am holding more VRS shares than ever. I am buying these low prices when I can, but nothing in life is certain, especially when it comes to the stock market.

Deals can be slow-going, and they can be delayed. They can even fall through completely. And these things can happen outside of VRS' control. It doesn't mean it's a bad product, or a bad CEO, it could be entirely due to lack of external funding for a large-scale project.

I still believe in the product and the company, but none of the deals have been signed yet, and PI/market sentiment decides whether to price these things in or not.

I believe deals will be signed, but let's take a step back from the share price and this message board and think rationally.

Evening Folk,

Good work Rodger - for balance eh.

Woody - and you too.

Mike -
In a normal sane world we see your point but here we have a lot of fruit
cakes.

You may block them, but I know they sow a lot of doubt with the smaller 'fish'

who don't understand or have the confidence you have.

Come on, give the 'positives' a bit of support - it ain't what you say, it's the

way that you say it - lol (old record eh..)

Just my thoughts.

Thank you Roger for bringing some balance after weeks and weeks of lies and de ramping from some quarters.
One can easily forget the magnitude of some of the deals that I believe will come to fruition.

For me the upside possibilities are so overwhelmingly strong, that detractors would have to come up with something far better than the feeble ammunition they've been repeatedly relying on so far. They've taken plenty of airtime here but never come up with anything significant or new. The more often they resort to mere repetition, the more obvious it is that have nothing else in their locker.

I think everyone is bombed out on the negatives and are fully aware of what they may be , yes we know Axia was delayed and I have no idea what Rachel is doing in Korea at the moment (Korean contact in the header) but to be honest it doesn't matter in the slightest with the rest that Roger has highlighted as reminders.

In the meantime keep up the good work Roger, it is good to be reminded of what is possible and there is always left field which seems to come up at regular intervals.

RTG please keep up the excellent summaries you have pulled together. With a number trying to spread falsehoods and create an unsavoury board I like the posts that remind me why I invested (potential) and have gone wider and further than I'd imagined.I don't think think it will be long till a number of items to land but having said that I'm in no hurry to close anything or in need of funds.Keep showing what's publicly available and reiterate that everyone should do their own research. You are only giving us reminders on what to look at I know nooothing
