28/1/2020 11:49 | I have 66 but they are far too slow and have too many meetings as with all things EU, automakers will outstrip them because they need to be on the case right now as Tesla has proven .... it is decision time for them. | ![]() luckyorange

28/1/2020 11:31 | in the last year: i took a loss on bids i took a loss on webis i took a loss on iqai i took a loss on pet i sold my family's vrs shares at a loss and used the money to buy into iof and now that is down too. I know they say the stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient, but you can't buy patience on the stock market, so i really don't know what they are talking about! buy the highs and sell the lows, fest knows best. 28/1/2020 11:15 | 9. Collaboration with Zap&Go Continuing with the battery vibe which is becoming a very hot topic at the moment albeit hush hush, Zap&Go with its technology and growing patent portfolio, are focussed on developing a new class of energy storage device with considerable functional improvements over current commercially available supercapacitors. Zap&Go work with a number of Chinese partners to manufacture their technology. Collaboration to incorporate Nanene and other Versarien supplied two-dimensional materials into Zap&Go's supercapacitor type devices with a view to enhancing their performance, specifically through the increased electrical conductivity of the supercapacitor cells. Trials are continuing but you guessed it.... Not priced in! | ![]() rogerthegrouch
28/1/2020 11:09 | Can usually find something somewhere Roger but the battery/ultracap side is very hush hush hence I am looking forward to Elons battery day on the 2nd and so would a lot of automakers I would think. | ![]() luckyorange
28/1/2020 11:03 | 8. Battery alliance with WMG I was talking to a friend regarding Versarien and why he should invest. He stopped me at batteries. He said “if Versarien can crack the battery then it will have a licence to print money”. The opportunities are vast and its also very en vogue right now. Some of this is evidenced in LOs post. Versarien has been working with WMG (Warwick Manufacturing Group) and their partner companies and scientists at the universities of Warwick and Cambridge to collaborate on the production of power storage devices such as batteries and supercapacitors using Versarien's proprietary Nanene graphene nano platelets. Significant advances have been made through incorporating the Company's high quality graphene into these devices and the Company looks forward to commercial products becoming available in due course. WMG are supporting Versarien with various collaboration agreements including the 2 with the Chinese Aerospace Companies and Israel Aerospace. Not priced in! | ![]() rogerthegrouch

28/1/2020 10:57 | Having been a bear on battery tech for some time it looks like it is turning the corner “UKBIC will offer the same industrial-standard production equipment you would find in any major battery production factory around the world and is capable of running at the rates and volumes needed to tip the balance of risk and confidence in favour of new UK technology." That coupled with the comments by Volkswagen CEO Diess: "2020, for the auto industry, will be a very difficult year" "Market valuation tells you about the future. Tesla's products describe the future of the auto industry" "Tesla is paving the way" "I would take Tesla more seriously than Google" The link is a short discussion with Diess at Davos on the subject. Now where is Gnanomat placed in the battery market, what are they working on? We will see! | ![]() luckyorange
28/1/2020 10:55 | Hi Melf,LO Dont underestimate the importance of MD. Sure the scale pales in comparison to the other juggernaughts on Versarien's books but proving a product in the real world often gets the big boys circling. For example, Apple would rather see a tried and tested product in the real world before committing R&D. They have a habit of letting others go first. Its also good to get real world feedback on the branding etc. As a graphene obsessed person, i was also delighted to actually get my hands on Nanene and appreciate the some of the miracle benefits first hand. Only takes a spark to start a firework. | ![]() rogerthegrouch
28/1/2020 10:48 | "it's the proof that the nanene works and makes a difference that is the important point here" except that that was well over a year ago, so clearly it's not been very persuasive, has it? | ![]() club sandwich
28/1/2020 10:45 | As you say LO, MD isn't going to make us rich but it's the proof that the nanene works and makes a difference that is the important point here :-) | ![]() melf
28/1/2020 10:41 | 7. Versarien joined the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre GEIC provides an unrivaled critical mass of graphene expertise, performing applied research to aid the commercialisation and manufacture of graphene, with applications applicable to industry. Versarien are TIER ONE partners on the GEIC Technology Advisory Board with dedicated GEIC laboratory space and the ability to utilise the centre's facilities. Other GEIC advisory panel partners include Airbus, Akzonobel, BAE Systems, BP, GKN Aerospace, Johnson & Johnson, Jaguar Land Rover, Siemens, Tata Steel and Thales. We have already seen an Airbus collaboration, I wonder how many others on this list are waiting in the wings or indeed already collaborating under the cloak of NDA? Either way… Not priced in! | ![]() rogerthegrouch

28/1/2020 10:15 | lucky "I don't need RNS's Kemorkid, the IP and all of the links that VRS has with these huge companies and aerospace is worth so much more than the current valuation , doesn't take much working out." when you look at all what we have going...ip. know how, full hopper etc etc etc. the uniqueness of vrs. its got to be worth over 2 billion to a major...if it were to be sold. I don't say that lightly. | ![]() jointer13
28/1/2020 10:12 | Back in the blue again. Traders here might well be asking if yesterday's 1p dip below chart support was just what chartists would refer to as a 'head fake'. | ![]() the skipper
28/1/2020 09:48 | They are getting money as well Mike from the CPI requirements, Airbus etc; which will keep them ticking over too, the only fundraise will be the 15% at a premium which is well documented, are they Really still going on about that? Talk about flogging a dead horse. They just want to buy them back cheaply off PI's who have sold them cheaply, so do I to be honest if some are that flakey they can't see what is in front of their nose. Government upping the ante this week and good to see, wonder what the cabinet meeting in the North later this week is all about? | ![]() luckyorange

28/1/2020 09:40 | 5. Agreement with Arrow GreenTech and opening doors in India Arrow GreenTech is an India-based company who are a leading global manufacturer of cast water-soluble film, providing solutions and applications for sectors including agrochemicals, construction, chemical, embroidery, health & hygiene and 3D printing. Additionally, Arrow GreenTech have patented technology that is used in secure products such as passports, bank notes and security paper. The collaboration allows Versarien Graphinks to take advantage of the fast growing water soluble film and bio compostable thin film market whilst securing a strong partner in India. IP application submitted and progressing and engagement with a number of India based companies across multiple sectors. It’s an ideal collaboration to lay some foundations in India that will likely generate huge revenues given the size of market and population. Having spoken to the CEO (Sam), he is very positive about the opportunities and the future. He thinks Versarien are a class act. New technology of revolutionary scale doesn't happen overnight but when it does, get your raft. There is going to be a flood. Not priced in! | ![]() rogerthegrouch
28/1/2020 09:37 | "On top of that the company has said that it has scope to reduce cost base if they so choose." Well they should fire Ricketts, that would save them a few bob... | ![]() club sandwich |
