No fear here, progress is progress so I'm happy to hold, however I am surprised The Scoffers continue to post so aggressively across the boards, especially when company progress and general sentiment remains positive. The tone of some deramping posts suggests a mix of desperation, bitterness and a stubborn unwillingness to accept the proven successes of the company, it's often said the best policy is to ignore and not engage, however sometimes that's easier said than done. Well Done to those who are quick to react and who bombard the falsehoods with true VRS facts and achievements in order to negate attempts to influence and harm. In the meantime I'll keep tight hold of my long term investment and wait patiently for the inevitable deals to arrive, and I don't anticipate much of a wait from here.

The 30T machine is just a plan.

It doesn't exist. I'm not even sure the 3T machine has produced very much? Why not keep it running and store the Graphene if it is so valuable? Probably because it doesn't keep long before restacking?

If the 30T machine is just a cut and paste of the 3T machine which cost 500K then VRS need 5M to scale to this level which they don't have. By year end they'll be low on cash again.

Buys outnumbering sells by 2.5:1 so surprised it’s going down
Maybe just early morning tree shake as the shorters appear to be here in force so presumably a concerted effort

@metis20 because it looks like the Chinese company whatever it is currently called is not interested in buying a stake in VRS.

I wonder also if the 30 ton machine is a reality yet. The theory has been done and it's possible in theory.

What is holding up the BIGT investment? Just been listening to the interview - 8 July 2019 - where at c7:00 mins we here about an internal timeline in which the BIGT investment is aimed for by the September 2019 AGM.

At c11:00 mins in that interview, reference is made to selecting the equipment. Is the hold up due to some extent to progress on developing the 30 tpa equipment?

and from the AGM September 2019 statement re BIGT - "Incubation and factory facilities within preferred key strategic provinces are currently being discussed for final consideration;

From the 2019 annual report -

How will Versarien cope with the greater demand for its products?

During 2019, we invested £0.5 million into new plant and equipment which can produce our graphene-based products. These machines are now fully operational and can now produce up to three tonnes of graphene per annum.

From 17 Jul interims

Testing of new equipment is underway which, if successful, would expand our production capacity to up to 30 tonnes per annum of high quality graphene.

The amazing thing about VRS is that it is *still* £165m market cap. That is an insane level for what is basically a university spin out start up with an unproven business model and a bolt on traditional low margin, loss making engineering business.

One might have given it a bit of a premium 3 years ago when they claimed to be able to sell their graphene product and had some protectable IP. This claim has been well and truly shown to be at best very shaky now.

I'm sure Neill will continue to promote the shares very hard and he'll try and sell more of his holding at anything like these levels if he can.

I can see this going back to £20m market cap fairly quickly though which is probably around 10-15p/share.

What relationship or connection exists between BGI (Beijing Graphene Institute) and BIGT (Beijing Institute of Graphene Technology)?

We know of the BIGT/Versarien connection, but is there a Versarien/BGI connection?

Well fancy that, back to pennyland. You should have listened to rainbow, he's seldom wrong. Anyone seen Bigt, orders ,revenues?. What a transformational year this has been for VRS but not quite the kind of transformation they've been producing a load of hot air and jam about. Never mind, they're keeping the shorters happy. 90p ahoy!!

Lower lows, lower highs as those who have finally come to their senses sell up on the road to the 99% losses club and 1p.

I see VRS back below 100p. I can't even remember now what the last ramp was about. Was it the BIGT/CIGUI/{insert latest name of Chinese buyer} Twitter photo ramp?

Thinksteve-excellent video. Inside of BGI building looks incredibly high tech. Chinese have certainly thrown some serious money at it. Great for VRS

Life can seem an endless maze,
The twists and turns, lulls and delays,
But things always fall into place...
In good time.

Friends will sometimes go away.
Some may disappoint or others betray,
But new ones will come to stay...
In good time.

The hurt of getting something wrong,
And the lesson it often brings along
Are there, you see, to make you strong...
In good time.

Kindness freely given away,
Unnoticed now, will somehow find its way
Back to you and come to stay...
In good time.

Efforts seem not to pay to plan?
Forge on friend, doing the best you can.
Fortune will find the deserving man...
In good time.

Life can be tough, there's no doubt,
But hope is the thing we can't do without.
Right things with joy will come about...
In good time.

“I would just like to see some of the promises turn into real deals.”

Amen to that. A large and growing number of s’holders share your view.

“Not hard considering the breadth of what is projected.”

I don’t think anyone is claiming that getting a maiden deal for a new technology over the line is easy, it takes time and effort. But VRS has HAD time, and has expended enormous effort. Now it’s time for Ricketts to deliver - or admit he can’t and stand down. Shareholders want to see the potential turn into revenue. Not in a year, not in 6 months or 3 months, but now. Before Christmas. We want to see the hype about this being a ‘mind blowing’ year delivered on, or for those who spoke such words to suffer consequences.
