Well said and a honest fact companies want quality to invest in .
This is cutting edge technology with mind blowing potential .

The only verified graphene in the world that’s why global companies from different sectors and governments are interested in this for consistency and quality and commercial scale as you have said .

Working with us to develop a material that has won the Nobel prize quite a pedigree .

There is no doubt graphene can change and improve a lot of things for the better in this world , and it’s a fact we have the only verified graphene on offer .
If it was that easy others would have done it .

This is very exciting indeed .

Let’s see what the next phase brings us

For sure the positives far , far out weight the negatives .

Some of the cleverest global companies from different sectors are hoping to change the way we live and were involved in that process .

quality... consistency...commercial scale...unique.

i see some are playing down the importance of having graphene materials verified, quite unbelieveable really.

I would say its very important.

plenty of info out there.

there is a lot of fake graphene out there...poor quality material.

Imagine a world in which antibiotics could be sold by anybody, and were not subject to quality standards and regulations. Many people would be afraid to use them because of the potential side effects, or because they had no faith that they would work, with potentially fatal consequences.

"seems that the high-profile scientific discoveries, technical breakthroughs and heavy investment in graphene have created a Wild West for business opportunists: the study shows that some producers are labelling black powders that mostly contain cheap graphite as graphene, and selling them for top dollar."

In a review of material specification sheets for 60 graphene products, The Graphene Council found that more than 45 different material characteristics were listed, but not one of them was common to all of the materials claiming to be graphene. In fact, less than 75% of the products reviewed shared a common listed specification.

"This makes it impossible for a buyer to compare materials from different suppliers without actually testing each sample, and a full graphene sample characterization by a world-class lab costs approximately $12-15,000 - per sample!"

"Successful commercialisation of graphene materials requires not only the ability to produce graphene to a declared specification, but to be able to do so at a commercial scale. It is nearly impossible for a graphene customer to verify the type of material they are receiving without going through an expensive and time-consuming process of having sample materials fully characterised by a laboratory that has the equipment and expertise to test graphene."

Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that the Company is the first graphene company in the world to successfully complete the Graphene Council's "Verified Graphene Producer" programme (the "Programme").

The US-based Graphene Council's Programme is an independent, third party verification system that involves a physical inspection of the production facilities, a review of the entire production process, a random sampling of product material and rigorous characterisation and testing by a leading, international materials laboratory. The Programme is based on the most recent developments in globally recognised graphene standards, surveys of graphene producers, researchers and users, as well as analysis of commercially available graphene products.

The Graphene Council have designed the Programme to be an important step in providing customers and end-users with a degree of confidence, that has not existed before, that they are sourcing material from a reputable supplier, bringing transparency and clarity to a rapidly changing and opaque market for graphene materials.

"This is a huge validation of our technology and will enable our partners and potential customers to have confidence that the graphene we produce meets globally accepted standards."

this makes us quite unique.

we know what we have... and so do a lot of others.

orders ready to come...as per rns's.

and you know what...we have got to this stage of our development quite rapidly.

quite amazing really.

don't listen to the bashers.

we are right at the forefront of the graphene revolution.

So I think it's a good idea to take a step back every now and then to re evaluate...

So I thought I'd pretend that I had only just heard about graphene... been told of it's amazing properties and seen investment potential...

Is it really all it's cut out to be?

“What is amazing about graphene is that in the lab you can basically make anything you want with it.” Andrea Ferrari.

"Graphene promises a significant step in performance of key components for optical and radio communications beyond the performance limits of today's conventional semiconductor-based component technologies. Graphene photonics offer a combination of advantages to become the game changer. " Paola Galli, Nokia IP and Optical networks Member of Technical Staff

"graphene for photonics has the potential to change the perspective of information and communications technology in a disruptive way". Antonio D'Errico from Graphene Flagship partner, Ericsson Research

“Graphene can address so many complex structural engineering challenges that were once considered impossible to solve. " Neill Ricketts CEO of Versarien

"a diamond is not forever, investing in graphene is a way better idea."
Prof Kostya Novoselov

But is it too early to invest?

“It's going to be very exciting to see what happens. We are watching the birth of a new industry as graphene matures and becomes more commercially viable.”
Terrance Barkan

“This is a fast-evolving area. Graphene is just one of a family of two-dimensional (2D) materials with vast potential. We are already thinking in terms of ‘graphenesR17; as a new advanced materials agenda. Europe and China have recognised the potential and are investing billions of dollars in the technology. “ James Baker

“We stand today on the cusp of The Graphene Age.” Boris Johnson

“This is a pivotal time for graphene development. With China’s strategic investment in graphene and lack of US momentum, if we do not take drastic measures, we will soon be dependent on a supply chain dominated by China,” Dr. Zina Jarrahi Cinker, Executive Director of the National Graphene Association.

"Graphene is enabling the technologies of the future," says Sara de Simoni, VP for Equipment Engineering and Managing Director of @tetrapak

“Contrary to the previous industrial revolutions, this one is evolving at an exponential rather than linear pace. This is the result of the multifaceted, deeply interconnected world we live in and the fact that new technology begets newer and ever more capable technology.” ― Klaus Schwab, The Fourth Industrial Revolution

Is it current?

“Graphene offers the opportunity to use carbon in a way that is not only sustainable in itself, but that helps make numerous other industries more sustainable by reducing energy requirements and emissions, making materials last longer, improving recyclability, removing toxins from the environment and much more.” Terrance Barkan

"By including graphene we can reduce the amount of materials required to make concrete by around 50 per cent — leading to a significant reduction of 446 kilograms per ton of the carbon emissions,” Professor Monica Craciun

Where to start Looking?

"Certainly the UK financial system is one of the most sophisticated at managing this risk. The UK can extend that lead, for the good of the UK, for the good of the world,” he said. “A number of the industrial solutions draw on the strengths of UK innovation, from the use of artificial intelligence in energy systems through to potentially advanced materials like graphene. There is a big upside for the UK economy.” Mark Carney Gov of the Bank of England

Welcome to the home of Graphene, the revolutionary 2D material which was first isolated at The University of Manchester.

2-DTech (part of the Versarien Group) was originally formed by the University of Manchester to manufacture and supply high quality graphene for research and development. It has now grown into a commercial operation not only supplying high grade graphene and other 2-D materials, but also working on the application of graphene in product development projects.

"These two Graphene Flagship spin-offs join the numerous other companies in the Versarien group, creating a real force to be reckoned with for graphene commercialisation and business growth." The Graphene Council

So Versarien looks interesting...

"We are delighted and proud to announce that our Nanene graphene nano-platelets have now received accreditation in both the USA and China. As one of the first companies to achieve this in the world it provides a huge validation of our technology and a great competitive advantage."

"The strategy agreed between BIGT and Versarien is to create an incubation hub in Beijing in partnership with the Chinese Government's Administrative Committee of Beijing Petrochemical New Materials Science and Technology Industry Base, Versarien and CIGIU in return for access to a funded science park, access to a pipeline of projects and to locate a factory in a funded Sino-British industrial park within Shangdong Province."

"The UK Government continues to provide support to Versarien with seconded staff and has also entered into partnership with us as an ‘Export Champion’. This support enables us to increase our global presence and succeed in our global strategy."

"...new graphene-reinforced polymer, which is supplied by Aecom’s materials partner Versarien."

"Versarien said it had appointed Denis Koltsov and Martin Kemp to strengthen its graphene technology team, with a particular focus on quality assurance.Kemp and Koltsov were both at the forefront of developing the international standards that would define graphene and other nanomaterials"

Certainly seems to be ticking the boxes, can't find another company in the sector to rival it...

Versarien plc

("Versarien" or the "Company")

LOI with Global Apparel Manufacturer

Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that it has signed a Letter of Intent ("LOI") with the Company's textile sector collaboration partner (the "Partner') covering the initial launch of high performance sportswear incorporating Versarien's graphene ink technology.

The Partner, who has a collaboration agreement with the Company, as announced on 8 January 2018, is headquartered in Asia and designs, develops and manufactures a range of different garments for well-known apparel brands globally.

The LOI follows successful independent tests carried out in the UK involving the incorporation of graphene into textiles via fabric finishes using Versarien's graphene ink technology developed by the company's subsidiary, Cambridge Graphene Limited. The testing has demonstrated that the incorporation of Versarien's graphene inks into the textiles provides a number of potential benefits to a user of garments made from them, including enhanced thermal and moisture properties.

The non-binding LOI sets out the intent of the parties to enter into a formal commercial relationship regarding an initial launch of high performance sportswear. The LOI also commits both parties to further product development across different textiles and graphene delivery methods.

Further wearer trials are now underway with a number of well known global sports brands, along with other Partner customers.

So in other words Aquae you just made it up hoping nobody would call you out and when they did you pasted a press release here.

It's laughable. I also saw a press article about a guy who has invented a new battery with huge capacity that charges very quickly in his garage - might have used graphene cant remember. I guess that's true and accurate too is it?

No Loglorry but from 20th August "Aecom has produced a graphene arch using additive manufacturing techniques. It believes the method could reduce the time and cost of installing digital signalling systems and transform the digitisation of transport networks.

The company’s CNCTArch is designed to drive down the costs associated with installing digital signalling systems on transport networks. Using a graphene arch that sits over rail tracks eliminates the need to attach new digital equipment to existing infrastructure.

Graphene is famously super-light and super-strong. The 4.5-metre high, lightweight arch is being tested on outdoor track at Network Rail’s workforce development centre in Bristol.

Aecom employees came up with the concept of CNCTArch in response to its transport clients’ challenges around the cost and time of digitising the signalling systems on their networks. The company looked at replacing the traditional bolt and screws method of deploying digital systems in tunnels, which takes four shifts to install, by developing an arch on which the digital technology is attached, that doesn’t bolt to any existing infrastructure and takes only one shift to install. The CNCTArch can be used in both tunnels and open environments and has the potential to transform the deployment of digital traffic management systems, Aecom believes.

Aecom is working with Network Rail’s Western region team and its Bristol Parkway signalling training school to test the arch. Sensors have been installed to monitor how the arch performs in different weather conditions, measuring oscillation and deflection. The six-month trial is the next step towards commercialising the product"

So testing has at best 2 months of cold weather trials to conclude at which point we will all know whether a significant RNS will drop.

A lot of shareholders are weighing up the pros and cons and have a balanced view and many believe that things take time and understand that .

Mr log it’s the same old same old and a different day for your posts .

Obviously Newer share holders have not had that privilege .
Give us a balanced view if you are a professional investor or leave us in peace .
