11/10/2019 12:54 | If we got some Graphene earnings or orders then wed be a candidate for a high growth rating. Ive got shares and Im not selling them, but i have stopped waking up in anticipation of an RNS about an order and instead Im waking up in dread of further drops due to brexit, or competition from a new verified Graphene producer. Its inevitable we will be joined by someone else at some point. My shares are staying but my hair and nails are dwindling. | ![]() mandatory

11/10/2019 12:29 | redal, IMO though your figures stack up, you are using traditional methods and very low ones as Melf points out. When we are selling that 30T volume the share price will be way higher than your figures suggest as we will have proved the potential. At that point we will have more institutions and HNW individuals all super interested and wanting a piece of the action. | ![]() woodpeckers

11/10/2019 12:27 | Both seats and lockers need to be fire resistant. Seats also need to be able to put up with strong dynamic force. So need extensive testing for safety. | ![]() handykart

11/10/2019 12:07 | During these times of patience I've spent some time on estimates of potential short term MCAP, based upon a number of variables. Although the value of variable is up for discussion, are there any challenges to the following theory:* 30T volume per annum = 30,000 kg (VRS ready to get upto 30T in UK, possibly Cheltenham alone)* High margins suggested but use 75% to be conservative. * Price ranges from $50-2000 per kg (graphene Council presentation) GUESS of $500 per kilo on average sale* Annual revenue based upon variables above is 30,000kg x $500 = $15m* Earning 75% of $15m = $11.25Typical PE AIM 24, Small cap 15, FTSE 100/250 17.* Using PE of 15 we get MCAP of $168.75m circa £140m, very close to current MCAP at 93pThis is "short" term MCAP as BIGT could blow this out of water in medium term as there will be a time lag getting machines up and running in China. Thoughts? | red7al

11/10/2019 10:55 | Dtaliadoros, my thoughts would be that as a major concern in aviation is safety, any new material needs long and extensive testing, before being incorporated in composites e.c.t. Look at how long it has taken carbon fibre to go into use, from first discovery, until used in major projects.Any use where safety is a concern, will need extensive testing and confidence to build.Even use in a plastic bottle, for drinks, would need extensive testing ,to make sure there is no further risk of spoilage over many months. As a contrast, ear phones do not pose much of a risk, and graphene either improves the product or not. So should be a fairly rapid testing process. | ![]() handykart

11/10/2019 10:44 | TheGrapheneMOFO: "The question now is: do Versarien and Neill Ricketts have what it takes to become a global leader in the field?" Fair question. What appears to be happening is that NR is avoiding the "curse of the first". Edit... He has sold NOT out the IP or the company cheap & early. He is holding out and not giving in to easy deals that see VRS as a small footnote in history. I suspect that means that he knows that VRS have something very special. He is not a maverick. He is not alone. It seems that his close colleagues share the vibe, and, it appears, so does the UK government. I am so pleased I have found a company with a solid proposition that is not going for the easy deals and prostituting my investment to easy-comers. imho all the evidence points to the company, board and shareholders having "what it takes" to stand firm and keep the company at the forefront of this revolution. Patience... | ![]() richie32

11/10/2019 10:26 | I am going to explain in simple terms how this plateau thing is going to work out. You can believe my words, after all, I am The Graphene Mofo. Graphene will experience a first plateau when all the "easy" applications have become widespread. Think [reinforcement + functionality] in carbon fibre composites for aerospace, in concrete, in polymers, in packaging. etc. Add to that the technical textiles and flexible electronics, supercapacitors and li-ion battery enhancement. How long do you think it's going to take for that to actually plateau? My graphene-enhanced crystal ball says no earlier than 2050-2060. Then there are the more challenging applications, the truly revolutionary ones that require pristine 1 or 2 layer graphene sheets and combinations of 2d materials, the so called VdW heterostructures. Potentially never going to happen because cannot be produced cheaply in global quantities. Otherwise think 60-100 years before any kind of plateau for these applications. Oh yes and when I say "graphene" what I really mean is "the several thousands of potential 2d materials". The question now is: do Versarien and Neill Ricketts have what it takes to become a global leader in the field? Ultimately, it is all down to implementing the right strategy, having the right products at the right price at the right time, hiring the right people and making the right acquisitions. Easy init? Place your bets. Graphenely, G-Mo | ![]() thegraphenemofo
