The 2018 Olympics - Dom Parsons became the first British male skeleton athlete to win an Olympic medal in 70 years when he made the podium in PyeongChang in 2018. Dom won Olympic Bronze after a superb showing in South Korea for his first-major medal since 2013 using a sled with nanene; never realised that until 5 minutes ago when I watched a you tube video entitled "Taking Graphene out of the Lab" 6.25 ish seconds in.

Hi Shavian, re the 3T v 30T issue. I took it that Neill was indicating that flexibility is key in potentially servicing the different customers different needs. I.E., sometimes 3T, sometimes modular 3T X nr of machines necessary, and sometimes one X 30T machine. Depending also on geography, I think he said.

"The most exciting businesses in the South West have been revealed by Insider. From tech start-ups to cutting edge engineering businesses, from food and drink manufacturers to space industry equipment producers, the list pulls together the 50 stand-out “exciting” companies, and goes on to profile the next 50 businesses to watch who are hot on their heels.

The list, in the October issue of South West Business Insider magazine, was produced by a judging panel comprising representatives from sponsors Interaction, Smith & Williamson, Weston College, UWE Bristol and Thrings.

Businesses showcased on the list include the likes of Bristol-based software company Amdaris, Cheltenham-based graphene producer Versarien and Plymouth-based technology developer Plessey."

Remainer or leaver is irrelevant regarding johnveals’ Target2 issue. It concerns me a lot from a solvency perspective.

O/T I will only make this one comment and will not engage on the subject.

I am disappointed with the hypocrisy of those on the Remain side of the argument who fail to recognise the legitimacy of the referendum vote yet claim to have ‘democracyR17; on their side. When the Euro implodes, which is inevitable IMHO, I hope we are well clear. If anyone disagrees with this I suggest they google ‘Target 2 debt’, a system that deliberately creates debts within the Eurozone that can never be repaid. The resulting crisis will trigger the creation of the European Superstate with central fiscal and budgetary control, effectively the end of the individual nation state. The architects of the Euro fully understood this, it was always the plan.

Shavian - That is more or less my understanding. Larger machines are a work in progress and multiple 3T machines are an already available option. Also, bear in mind, that the machines are only one part of a much larger process.

Scaling up is a vitally important part of growing the company but we have consistently been told that it is not a problem.

I am glad that our experiences resonate. Andy is on another planet, but everyone begins life as a naif (if people don't mind the tautology).

You only demean yourself by resorting to petty name calling.

I met you a few years ago, and formed an impression of you then, and you just confirmed it......

I won't be responding in kind to your name calling, so you can carry on, you may even impress a few of the easily excitable here......

It's waste of time and money.

The best way to deal with anyone that intentional causes you misery by deceit is to deal with them yourself, the lesson is far more rewarding and impactful than any letter and lefty solicitor nonsense.

-------

You seem to be advocating violence, hmmm...

And how would you discover the ID and address of an anonymous poster here in the first place?

A simple PM would comply with the law of the land, and engaging solicitors would not be necessary, trust me.

high park (among others), what a very convenient and misleading way of presenting things in order to suit the remain bandwagon agenda - which part of that 1.3 million (yes, million) majority democratic vote in favour of Brexit did you and your lot not understand? Sore losers should have no more right to overturn this result than they would a UK General Election result. As per election manifesto, both sides should do their jobs and just get on and bloody deliver it!

Back to VRS, many thanks to all for the generous post AGM write-ups - very much appreciated!

Just a further thought on scaling up production, which I seem to have missed from my earlier notes:

Neill was discussing whether to develop the modular approach for textile manufacture, using multiple 3T machines, or to follow the (initially) more expensive and complex task of a much larger (30T?) machine. On reflection I don't think this is an either/or scenario, as I recall him saying that smaller clients could be equipped with a 3T-type facility in a container for localised production.

Presumably this development would be in parallel with a larger scale facility for major clients.

Did anybody else get this or am I barking up the wrong tree?

On a similar tack I recall a point he made at the 2018 AGM to say they were seeking to negotiate a two-year exclusivity deal with the manufacturers of the machine which produces the Nanene, which of course may or may not be the first stage of the graphene-infused textile production. Just musing....

Cazzer is a troll, just of a different sort with a different chip on his shoulder. Looking at his posts he doesn't seem to have much interest in vrs.

We should all appreciate and celebrate that fest reduced his exposure as we all used to ask him to balance the portfolio. Now he has done it and people here criticise him. Not good.

In short, it is good for him and it is good for VRS.
