Once again Scrutable you should know better, from a different perspective I disagree with the majority of what you have said but this is not the forum for that type of discussion.

Scrutable I am afraid you have got it all upside down.

As someone who lived through the war, you must surely know differently.

I am glad that our experiences resonate. Andy is on another planet, but everyone begins life as a naif (if people don't mind the tautology).

The subject is so serious as to make a good topic for Panorama. The City's guile, tolerated fraud and exceptional greed is relied on to fund the UK and have for a century or so been used to defend our intrinsic shortfall in the UK's Balance of Payments. Like drug addicts we cannot survive without them, they are essential and the FCA is going to do nothing to change the culture.

However, our country, even the World is currently in such an upheaval that everything is now in the melting pot. I hope for a rising new party, and a recasting of politics and ethics (but that's naive too).

The emergence of recent child, Greta Thunberg as a World Star, leading the Leaders by their noses in New York, is Messianic, awe inspiring, and demonstrates that 'the impossible CAN happen. We did make a change of comparable magnitude when abolishing slavery and yesterday's decision by our Supreme Court WAS a singular event in UK history. In an earlier age the brilliant clown Boris might have been led off to execution.

If the apparel manufacturer wants 100T of Graphinks, and if they pay £1m/T, isn't that a unicorn right there?

Hi Alchemy, good post.

My guess would be :

BIGT
Textiles
Arches
Oil & Gas
Aero
Packaging
Concrete

Agree, 4 or 5 visible in 6 months

We're worth more than that now in my opinion. Valuations are forward looking, the market hasn't spotted us yet...when they do....

Unicorn status , ....this time next year...

All just guesses...

Brilliant day at the AGM yesterday. just read through all the posts and can only add one thing that hasnt been mentioned already.

Re the shirt that was passed around that had a hexagon lattice printed on the inside, this was for marketing purposes to emphasise the use of graphene. The production version should have a full block printed with no spaces to conduct heat, moisture etc away more efficiently.

Just remember that the test run was for 45,000 square meters of fabric. As has been published previously, scale up of producing the graphinks liquid can be done relatively cheaply.

So wonder which team or sport will benefit from the first live known trials ??? Cant be long before the branding negotiations are over and we find out ...

Happens on HL from time to time Andy, coffee break or in auction , usually sorts itself out in about 10 minutes , don't listen to the one who looks at any opportunity to call it down.
