Scrutable,

I would suggest the only thing libelous on here is your post above!

You are accusing them of market manipulation, which most certainly IS criminal behaviour! So why don't you report them then?

If their posts were libelous the company would deal with that, very quickly, you can be sure of that.

I saw today's RNS as a reasonable update, nothing more, nothing less, still all to play for.

I certainly didn't share the enthusiasm of some posters who saw it as incredible, but it's subjective to the individual.

Corruption is not of itself sinister. Sinister is what you may do with the proceeds as with Putin.
That ,I agree, is not c-s.

Club sandwich is not merely strident. He is extremely intelligent but has appalling judgement. He is also lazy and, athough prompted, has not backed his impatience with any evidence of a company making it from start up , through application of new science, via testing and validation to commercial launch in less time than VRS.

Furthermore the 40 or so companies I have noted on the same kind of path are constantly turning to investors for further funding.

Is it not an outstanding feature that Neill has done it all on shoestrings he has made for himself and has not turned to us for funding. He thus brilliantly excludes the meddling of institutions with their irrelevant chairman, lawyers, Nomads and ignorant brokers, etc. He thus protects his shareholders from short-term greed and the urge to sell out IP as soon as it is proven and for <5% of its future value.

It is not-as you say - that the regular denigrators are boneheaded, but that they, especially rainbow and Club sandwich, are corrupt.

These two are the most articulate, persuasive and intelligent. That they cannot see what the majority see this morning is just not credible. They are knowingly producing libelous bile each day in the hope of personal gain from driving down the share price below its natural equilibrium between normal buyers and sellers. It should be recognised as criminal behaviour although, currently, it is not.

I cannot fault the consensus on this board today, and can see nothing to add to recognising that the development value of VRS's IP is still rising strongly month by month as testing increasingly validates the huge advantages of incorporating 2-D nano-thin material in concrete and in textile thread - both now in sight of commerciaisation. These two sectors alone can generate sales volume above £1 billion within three years in the capitalist world - without including the unquantifiable value , which will emerge from China. As China's electrifying progress shows in several sectors: Infrastructure, 3D printing, railway engineering, solar power, electronics IT, manufacturing etc, development decisions and investment are deployed much faster than in the West.

I doubt that economic warfare opened up by Trump can effect this. Unusually no part of the potential for VRS IP in China depends on the United States.

As the AGM announcement clearly displays, and BB readers today have been applauding, major projects are coming to fruition and reasons for confidence are increasing but like the pregnancy of elephants and Grabster's clever acronym........ TTTT

A positive RNS today.

My take on the BIGT deal is that the Chinese are desperate for Versarien's graphene but are playing hardball on the price and how much of the profits could be repatriated to the UK. Versarien would obviously love access to the ENTIRE Chinese market, but have the company's and shareholders' interests at heart, so are holding out for the best deal possible.

This is not a surprise, but is pleasing to me that the company are looking to the long-term.

The AECOM update is just superb. Company-making in itself :)

Dave,

FYI this defines what is real graphene. Only VRS so far can produce the verified real stuff in quantity.

graphite will go into regression as graphite producers cut production to increase the price, have vrs a off take agreement to ensure supply and to secure a stable price "hegde" if so vrs may compete with global industry supply !..... if not ?

Whilst the Versarien Board wishes to conclude a deal in China as soon as reasonably possible, it re-iterates its position that it will only do so if it is in the best interests of the Company's shareholders, The negotiations, whilst protracted, are with the objective of establishing a long-term and significant partnership between Versarien and BIGT in China.

Harrysol, other companies appear to be making and selling tonnes of graphene without Graphene Council verification

I think you guys need to get back to basics here. The only possible "moat" that VRS has is that it has a method for producing a) better quality graphene and at b) a price point that competes and with other producers.

There is simply no evidence at all that either of these two axioms hold true.

To date despite many years of collaborations no graphene has been sold in any material size and no price has ever been disclosed for the tiny orders they have obtained. No production price has been given either.

Meanwhile other producers have sold in this space in the multiple metric tonne level and are expanding their production capacity hugely. Thinkin NanoXplore and Sixth Elements to name but two.

Other than superg1 telling you there is no evidence that VRS Nanene is a superior product which can be prodcued in scale at a price point that works in the many applications which graphene may be useful for.

billwave, I empathise. However, I think the state is that new tech does take a while to get started and there are many more graphene enhanced products on the market even now with little from VRS. Having said that, I feel comfortable that the ball is rolling the right way. Some will be partnered products where a share of the selling price will be had and others where the graphene is a direct sale. I put all my eggs in this basket over the last year or so and currently underwater but I feel quite 'buoyant' and so will have my head above water soon.

I don't think most shareholders ARE frustrated, Harry. This is a 'brave new world' of new technology, and no text book yet exists to explain how long things should take. I, personally am quite sanguine today; the stress of 'will they, won't they' surrounding the BIGT deal being finalised before the AGM was an unnecessary distraction in recent weeks, and now we know that everything is progressing nicely,I am more than happy with my long-term investment.GLALTH's

I share the frustration of all share holders. After all, I am here to make money and we don't at first appearance seem to have moved forward. However, if you look closely, VRS are world leaders in Graphene. VRS remain the only verified Graphene producer in the world and it must have been 7-8 months that has been the case. No other Graphene producer has caught up. Graphene is s new disruptive technology and it's still going through the testing stages which is beyond VRS' control. IMO, very soon the collaborations are going to turn into orders. My guess is by Xmas, the share price will be much higher.

Hilarious whiteslice! 😂

Very happy with that brief update this morning, I imagine we'll get a bit more meat on the bone from those lucky enough to be able to attend the AGM.

I'm not surprised or concerned that we didn't hear anything about the US, it wasn't a full update, just touching on where we're at with the main big deals that they are currently concentrating on. I'm sure there is lots going on in the background.

BIGT does sound bigger than I realised, loving the objective "establishing 'China Graphene Manufacturing' at a national level". The 'final discussions' for the factory facilities and 'pipeline of projects' all suggest that we are nearly there and it will be well worth the wait.

For me the exciting sentence was 'These trials form part of our collaboration agreement with AECOM, along with a further four projects in China and the Middle East.' Chris has always said that concrete is where the money is and this confirmation that we really are AECOM's 'materials partner' is company changing.

It's hardly surprising that deals of this size take time.

Any investors reading that update must be able to see now the path that this company is taking and can't fail to be impressed.

Progress report from Gloucester.

The rain is of biblical proportions and thunder and lightning is forecast, whether it will coincide with the entrance of NR remains to be seen.

dgduncan - Yes, I've been consoling/comforting myself in the same way for the last 12 months. But really, most if not all of the content of that RNS has previously been released at least once over the period of time I've been holding. Releasing RHS's over and over again stating that things are progressing is becoming tiresome, the share price reaction suggests I am not alone in feeling this way. If I find the time I will look back through previous RNS's and report back with dates of when exactly all of the content in this mornings RNS was first suggested and released. I feel there may be a few surprised, and not pleasantly.
